# Power
--> Charger Control: Adjust AC / USB-PD / Wireless / USB 3.0 / USB 2.0 / max input Current in 100 mA Steps - Range: 100 - 3000 mA for S8 and for S8+ 100 - 3500 mA
--> Enable Adaptive Fast Charging aka AFC and Quick Charging even with Screen ON (with Stock Kernel it is only enabled while the Screen is OFF)
--> Shows the actual accepted input Current
--> Shows the actual accepted input Voltage - to check if AFC is actually active

# Audio
--> Volume + / - over the App - useful if the Hardware Buttons are broken

# Screen
--> Turn the Screen OFF over the App - useful if the Power Button is broken
--> Input Booster Frequency - Adjust the CPU Frequency while you are touching the Screen - helps to make scrolling more smooth or if disabled you can save battery
--> Input Booster duration - When you release the Screen how long it should stay boosted ? - Very important for making scrolling very smooth !

# CPU
--> Overclock Control:
--> for the small CPU: 455 - 2002 MHz (with Stock Kernel: 455 - 1690 MHz)
--> for the big CPU: 741 - 2808 MHz
--> Adjust Up Threshold from the Governor for small/big CPU separately - to adjust the Balance between Battery Life and Performance - Range: 35 - 95 %
--> Device Cooling Control - Ability to set a custom CPU Max Frequency limit when the device is hot and should cool down
--> Check if there is currently an Cooling event and shows the CPU Freq Max limit caused by the Cooling event

# GPU
--> Overclock Control:
--> Set min/max GPU Clock - Range 260 - 572 MHz (with Stock Kernel: 260 - 546 MHz)

# Hardcoded Performance Profiles
--> Powersave (Underclocked)
--> Balanced (Underclocked)
--> Performance (Kernel default / Stock)
--> Performance Plus (Overclocked)

# RAM
--> zRam - creates a swap block-device in RAM in order to improve Multitasking and it will start to compress data if needed (25 %, 50 % or 75 % of the RAM Size)
--> KSM - Kernel Samepage Merging - saves RAM if it finds some duplicates of the pages in RAM and it will merge them to just one
--> Shows the amount of the saved RAM in MB from KSM

# Network
--> Enable Support for Network File Systems: CIFS and NFS
--> Allows to change TCP Congestion Algorithm (cubic, reno, bic, westwood)

# Misc
--> Flashlight Brightness Control - up to 3 times brighter than with Stock Kernel !!
--> Accelerometer Calibration

# Debug (you can call this Menu over the in-App-menu)
--> Disable Restore on Reboot - useful if you are not sure whether the settings are stable, especially if you set higher CPU Clock than default

### Installation Method ###
Please search the Web for "A2N Kernel S8 XDA" and click on the first link "forum.xda ...."
Then scroll down to "Installation for normal People" and perform step by step in the right order.
Finally you can buy this App and use all features.
There you will find also how to update to Android 9, if you have still Android 8 or 7.

### INFO ###
This App also requires (every time you open the App) an internet connection for the license check.
To use this App in Offline-Mode as long it will not be killed by the Android low-memory-killer:
--> Open the App while having internet connection.
--> Press the "Home" button instead the "Back" button.
--> In Offline mode: open the App and use it. (make sure that you do not press the "Back" button in the main menu, otherwise you need again internet connection)
