Why use PassWallet?

Our app will help you to organize and easily use boarding passes, loyalty cards, coupons, etc. from almost every card issuer in use today. Wallet passes can be stored and used whenever you need them. The issuers have the ability to update your pass with useful information or content using the standard Apple passbook protocol. You can save an unlimited number of valuable entities, like boarding passes, loyalty cards, vouchers, tickets, bonus passes, service cards, membership cards and more.

Benefits of PassWallet:

When you receive a Wallet pass via email, SMS, Download-option or by NFC-tap, you can store it and have it instantly available when necessary. There are some important features available on wallet Passes such as the Bar Code which can authorize you on location. This feature is similar to Geo-fencing (to present your pass on the lock screen when in a specific location), as well as useful content such as information about the issuer of the pass, the usage of the pass, and to contact if needed.

The app is offline usable after you have downloaded the pass!

Wallet passes (.pkpass format) can be opened and viewed in a simple UX. The user experience is within the normal industry standard and will help you to get your digital loyalty or added value passes in one easy to find location.

It only consumes battery life when you use it, and does not use power when operations are performed in the background.

Security:

Your privacy is very important to us. The app requires only necessary permissions to function and you keep full control of the data shared with pass issuers.

The app will ask you to allow several services such as:
- Access to e-mail to search and download passes sent to you by creators e.g. airlines
- Access to your files to import and store passes in your device
- Camera to scan Bar-codes in different formats to add passes
- Permission to send Notifications to updates passes automatically
- Location to display Geo-located data from passes

Usage:

To import a Wallet pass, simply tap on the link/attachment (like PDF or image file) in your email and select PassWallet as your app of choice. Once selected, the PassWallet will be enabled to:

- Download Passes from your email
- Scan different Bar-codes and QR codes to add Cards/Tickets/Passes
- Find passes in Apple passbook .pkpass format in your device files
- Add cards by tapping NFC devices (coming soon)

To benefit individual issuers of passes we have created the perfect assistant to collect digital customer cards, vouchers, tickets, etc which will be stored in one central location.

Backup of Passbook passes (and syncing between devices) shall be possible via Dropbox or Google Drive.

We are preparing the PassWallet App for the future by providing NFC technology capabilities. Soon you will be able to add, pay for, and redeem content to your PassWallet app via so-called NFC terminals. With NFC, the use of wallet passes becomes even more convenient and flexible.
