Play NIU on PC

We have added unique experiences for first-year students, returning-students, and our faculty and staff. Choose your experience when you download the app to your device, and change it any time using the avatar icon at the the open of your screen. You can now receive app notifications about important dates, campus events and information to keep you connected, engaged, and productive. We’ve also improved on some of the great features we’ve offered in the past and added some new items.

The NIU Mobile app provides links to everything from campus resources, event calendars, tech help and residence hall laundry machine status updates to emergency information, campus maps, social media and more.

Play NIU on PC. It’s easy to get started.

  • Download and install BlueStacks on your PC

  • Complete Google sign-in to access the Play Store, or do it later

  • Look for NIU in the search bar at the top right corner

  • Click to install NIU from the search results

  • Complete Google sign-in (if you skipped step 2) to install NIU

  • Click the NIU icon on the home screen to start playing
