Play Hydraulic Calculations Plus Hydraulic cylinder + on PC
An easy to use tool to calculate hydraulic cylinder, pumps, motors, fluid, pipes, leakage and more. You can save the detailed calcualtion method in metric system of measurement as formatted PDF file. The calculation saved as PDF is good for learning, documentation and presentations.
Incl. unit converter.
Now with USCS system of measurement (calculations done in the USCS system of measurement can't be saved as PDF at the moment).
At the moment following hydraulic calculations are available:
Force, Pressure, Area - Calculate one unknown variable of three
Hydraulic cylinder calculations - Forces, Areas, Pressure etc.
Pressure drop through a straight pipe - Calculation of Δp
Pressure drop through an orifice - Calculation of Δp
Temperature change due to pressure drop - Calculation of ΔT
Leakage flow in a radial gap - Calculation of n Q, P and vm
Hydraulic pump calculations - Calculation of output flow rate, displacement, pump speed, shaft power, hydraulic power, shaft torque, combined efficiency
Hydraulic motor calculations - Calculation of oil flow, displacement, motor speed, input power, output power, motor torque, combined efficiency
A unit coverter is included and following conversions are available:
Conversion betweeen power units: W, PS, kcal/h
Conversion betweeen pressure units: bar, MPa, psi
Conversion betweeen length units:m, ft, inch
Conversion betweeen temperature units: °C, K, °F
Conversion betweeen velocity units: km/h, m/s, mph
Conversion betweeen units of kinematic viscosity: St, cSt, m²/s
