Overview

A shadow has fallen over this world. Lands that were once just and free have become corrupted by the foul forces of darkness. Danger has spread unimpeded, and it now threatens your very home. The hour is at hand. The time has come to reclaim your world!

AlterKnight is an open world RPG that blends exploration, character progression, and strategic turn-based combat into a deep mobile gaming experience. Inspired by classic role-playing games; AlterKnight uses procedural generation to create a world that is virtually limitless in size. Delve into underground ruins, protect innocent villagers, ascend towers to face foes, explore caves, and enter portals to other realms as you battle to cleanse the world of darkness.

Spells, Abilities, & Equipment

The journey will be difficult, but along the way you will find help. For each battle that you emerge victorious, your powers will grow. Choose from over 72 unique spells and abilities to create a custom class of your own design. Become a powerful warrior, an agile assassin, an elemental mage, a summoner, a healer, or something else entirely.

Discover an assortment of weapons, armors, trinkets, rings, amulets, and runes that will further boost your combat prowess. Randomly generated equipment can have multiple effects like attack speed, spell power, or critical hit chance. Find items from defeated foes, as quest rewards, or from hidden chests in the world.

Explore the World

As you reclaim areas of the world from darkness, you will unlock Shops, Blacksmiths, Taverns, and Shrines. Purchase or sell items at vendors, and earn temporary boosts from shrines. You may recruit up to two allies at Taverns to accompany you on your quests. Choose from a variety of NPC allies like robust Knights, agile Rogues, or versatile Battlemages to create your own unique party of heroes.

Find and collect helpful consumables along the way that can be used to give you an edge in battle. Magical flowers bloom across the world, and combining them together will yield potions that can be used in and out of combat. Rare blue gems are also scattered around the environment, and can be used at certain locations to unlock additional talent points to spend on spells and abilities.

Cooperative Multiplayer (WIFI)

You may also forgo your NPC allies and instead journey with a real friend in cooperative multiplayer! Use your local WIFI network to connect to a friend. Join together, share your world progress, and face enemies and quests that are even more challenging than when adventuring alone! The increased challenge is matched by increased rewards!
