Personal POI - PPoI - is a local database for your personal sights around the world (Poibase). Based on the GPS location information on your phone or tablet, you can create a highly efficient PoI with our APP. Add locations to your trip in a personal database or plan them in advance. In a matter of seconds, you can save any location, add images and add 5-star ratings, notes, labels and more to your Point of Interest (POI). Search for monuments again on a personal map or in the list and use the incredibly fast full-text search to find POIs again.

## Save
Secure any location in seconds. If additional information exists via internet, we add it (website, opening hours, telephone number,...). Add images to your location to recognise the PoI easily later on.

## Map point automatically generates a PoI
Find a location in the MapAPP of your device and share it with PPoI. We automatically create a location and complete it in the usual quality, if possible.

## Image automatically generates a PoI
Take a picture and share it with ppoi. We generate a place based on the GPS information of the image.

## Find
search using the full text search and / or use the map to find one of your PoIs around you.

Use the entries in your database to navigate via map

## Share it
If you want to meet with friends, send them a PoI via Sharing.

## Ride by About / Lyft
Use the coordinates to directly book a trip with Uber or Lyft (if available).

## Offline capable
We use the GPS information of the device for localisation. The internet we use only for additional information if available and for navigation.

## Your own categories
Define your own categories (restaurants, churches, campsites, bookshops,...) and generate a database for the different interests.

## Privacy
Privacy is more and more important. We don't provide an own server, we don't want to handle your data. Everything is stored on your device only.
