Now, with the INSIGHT Connect app, technicians can stay productive, and mobile, on the plant floor. The INSIGHT Connect app programs Ingersoll Rand QXC, QXM, QXN and QXX fastening tools without the need for additional technical training, special software, plant network permissions or a laptop computer. Working from a smartphone or tablet, operators can use the app to quickly program the torque and angle control configurations on these closed-loop, transducerized tools.

Once installed, the INSIGHT Connect app can operate offline, so it can function in large facilities where internet-signal loss may be a problem, mitigating downtime in manufacturing settings where productivity and time savings are essential.
