Why Do We Love Ghost Stories?

Ghost stories have been with us so long as man has. If we have confidence in ghosts, we will sit down and pay attention, allowing ourselves to be pulled in to the tale and the world of the afterlife. Sometimes it's a global filled up with awe and question, but frequently it's one of bone chilling dread.

There is certainly something that grips us while someone starts to spin the tale for all of us, we'll sit quietly while our hearts beat faster and faster, willing to go with the storyteller whether we have confidence in ghosts or not.

Ghost Stories are fun, and the majority of us like a good scare. Ghost stories fills the necessity we as humans can't deny, the likelihood that we don't just consider dust and fade from the planet earth when our anatomies no more are of any use to us. Even the best sceptic is willing to place their view apart, even whether it's only subconsciously, and question whether it's possible another after loss of life and pay just a little trip to those we love, or simply those we were never too keen on.

It's the secret of unknown in ghost stories we hear that pulls us to them. Hearing a tale from anyone who has experienced something we desire to a visit from the lifeless. Although we may say we never want to deep inside we think a little glance wouldn't be such a poor thing.
