The story of Pucca Puzzle Adventure begins three years before the game’s events, with the cosmic villain Dong King raiding Earth with his army. Dong began distributing low-quality food to everyone in an attempt to gain control of people’s minds, and soon he had hordes of his own mindless minions.

Dong King led his own army and those he had captured on Earth to Suga Island, Pucca’s home. However, his conquest was a failure, as Pucca, her friends, and the chefs of the Giant Dragon Express drove him away, leaving him a shell of himself. But Dong King survived, and like Thanos, he obtained particle stones and elements, which gave him the ability to control minds and clone others once more. He returned to Earth and kidnapped all of Pucca’s friends using this dark power.

She must now embark on a global adventure to reunite with her friends and finally silence Dong King. The gameplay will be of the match-3 variety, with RPG elements such as character leveling. There are more than 100 stages to complete. In Adventure Mode, players will explore the main story while attempting to thwart the Dong King’s schemes. The Challenge Mode includes boss raids, while the Breakthrough Mode is a ranking competition.
