Warsh Quran is a free Quran app using the riwaya Warsh 'an Nafi'. The many features enhance the experience when reciting or memorizing the Quran. This app uses, unlike most other apps, real text instead of images, which enhances the readability tremendously on every type of screen.

The following features are available in Warsh Quran:
- Find a surah on the basis of the title
- Display the titles of the suwar in Arabic
- Bookmark a verse
- Night mode
- Jump to a Hizb or Thoemoen using the Juz' tab
- Toggle between display modes (List style / Classic style)
- Rescale the Quran text to the desired size
- Jump to a specific verse
- Audio recitations with highlighting support
- Advanced repeat options

- Sharing an ayah
- Translations

PERMISSIONS

The Warsh Quran app uses the following permissions:

- Access to network state & Internet:
These are required in order to check if an internet connection is available to download the media files used for the audio playback. Additionally, it is also needed for adding and updating reciters and other important resources.

- Read and write external storage:
These are necessary in order to store and read the media files that have been downloaded.

- Read phone state:
This is needed to stop the audio playback when you are being called.

- Wake lock:
This is needed to keep the phone active when downloading. Without this permission, a download in progress will be cancelled when the phone becomes inactive.
