The farmpilot app - mobile component for farm management and transport logistics

The farmpilot app is the mobile component of farmpilot that works with the farmpilot web portal. It offers a multitude of functions that support order processing in harvest campaigns in a special way.
The farmpilot app runs on tablets with the Android operating system version 4.4 or higher.

The user interface of the farmpilot app is designed for 10 inch tablets. But you can also work with it on 7 inch tablets.

Essential features of the farmpilot app are:

ORDER PROCESSING:
• Display of the jobs to be processed in a geographical map, as well as a list
• Display of field-related details (crops, comments, etc.)
• Real time update of orders during processing
• Reload job sets that have already been returned
• Display and change of access and exit routes
• Display and edit pile positions
• Documentation through photos
• Data collection in individual feedback forms
• Use of filter functions
• Map view in full screen mode
• Map view split, to set two zoom levels
• Blocking the screen from 30km / h
• Automatic switching to farmpilot configurable
• Own position indicator

VEHICLE GROUPS:
• Position display of all members of a vehicle group
• Status comparison between members of a vehicle group
• Announcement of orders within a vehicle group
• Timeline for visualization of approaching and departing vehicles
• Loading display (full / empty) for arriving and departing vehicles
• Definition of the relevant access route by the Leader Vehicle
• Independent change of the lead vehicle
• Vehicle Tracking
• Restricted views for truck drivers

NAVIGATION:
• Navigation (Google Maps) to predefined locations, such as to the entrance to the field, to the access road, to another vehicle, to self-created favorites or predetermined POI)
• Integration of FieldNav as navigation software
• Navigation to vehicles directly in the map

INDIVIDUALISATION:
• Creation of self-defined favorites (for example, silos, sugar works, etc.)
• Use of Points of Interest (POI) referred to the field
• Use of self-made KML map layers
• Extension of the display options of field markers and vehicles
