To this end, the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) and Dataport provide this innovative, open learning platform and will henceforth be jointly developed to support those involved in the school on the way to the use of digital possibilities in the classroom.

The HPI has been Europe's pioneer for free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) since 2012. We are happy to help all schools and their educational staff in all of Germany. Our platform offers useful information, introductory courses and OER material on many topics. LERNEN.cloud wants to bundle what ministries of education, education authorities, non-profit institutions and organizations as well as other providers of advanced training content provide for teachers. We are currently still in the process of formulating clear guidelines for the content of external providers. The learning behavior of the participants shows us scientists the way. The data is anonymized before the analysis, stored securely and not passed on.
