Explore earthquakes near you or from around the globe using the new IRIS Station Monitor app! Select from hundreds of seismic stations throughout the world. View up-to-the-minute recorded ground motions or see recordings from previous days and past events. Get information about recent events and choose to annotate wave arrivals.

Play Station Monitor on PC. It’s easy to get started.

  • Download and install BlueStacks on your PC

  • Complete Google sign-in to access the Play Store, or do it later

  • Look for Station Monitor in the search bar at the top right corner

  • Click to install Station Monitor from the search results

  • Complete Google sign-in (if you skipped step 2) to install Station Monitor

  • Click the Station Monitor icon on the home screen to start playing
