Cognitio is the annual festival of Mechanical Department of NIT Jamshedpur. It was initiated in the session 2017-18 with a motive to stimulate innovative solutions to various real time problems in the industrial sector. Students participate in this symposium in different events dealing with the implementation of engineering concepts followed by its feasibility study, optimisation, documentation and communication. Also, profound lecture sessions are conducted by renowned speakers and proficient alumni of the institute.

The theme of Cognitio’19 is “INDUSTRY 4.0”, which corresponds to the 4th Generation industrialization. Team Cognitio promotes quality learning and inclusive growth creating leaders out of individual.
