Introduced over 3 years ago with over 20,000 downloads globally, the Seco Solid Milling app has quickly become a valuable assist for end users, distributor partners and sales professionals all around the manufacturing industry. It has never been easier to get tips and tricks, cutting data recommendations and tool selection based on application or material type for Seco solid milling products.

The Solid Milling App contains over 5,000 Seco solid carbide end mills from both the Jabro and Niagara product families. Cutting data, application recommendations, horse power calculations, metal removal rates and rpm optimization is now available for roughly 3,700 metric and over 1,500 inch end mills.

With update 1.10 now available, a newly redesigned rpm optimizer makes it easier to optimize rpm to help maintain a constant chip load, which in turn will help increase tool life. Also, you are now able to switch between Seco material group v1 and v2 depending on your preference. Updated application illustrations along with new video links have also been added for your viewing pleasure.

No internet connection? No problem. The Solid Milling App search function’s work off-line so you can now get cutting data anywhere in the shop, even while you are standing at the machine.
