In «Kaaba compass - Ramadan calendar» app you have two main functionalities:
• Qibla compass: Finds offline the accurate Qibla direction according to your geographic location.
• Ramadan calendar: Help with Muslim fasting. During the holy month of Ramadan and throughout the year, calculates every day the accurate fasting begin (Imsak) and fasting end (Iftar) times. Allows setting alarms for those timetables. Alarms maybe ringtone or Azan.

Easy to use, it will be your faithful companion wherever you are in the world because it works even without internet.

Setting your location

Qibla direction calculation, as well as that of the fasting begin (Imsak) and fasting end (Iftar) times is made according to your geographical location.
For your convenience, the application can automatically detect the GPS coordinates of your location. You just need to tap the «My Location» button. However, to protect your privacy:

• «Kaaba compass - Ramadan calendar» app memorizes your position and saves you from leaving permanently activated the access permission to the device location. The Qibla direction and Ramadan fasting times depend on the GPS coordinates of your geographic location.
• It works offline. «Kaaba compass - Ramadan calendar» app uses the Internet connection, only to get the name of your geographic location. This name is for display convenience only. The calculation is done with GPS coordinates of your location.
• If you don't want to enable permission to access the device location at all, you may enter your location (GPS coordinates) yourself. A screen for entering these coordinates will be displayed to you when you deny access to the device location.

Kaaba compass to find Qibla direction function

Calculates the Qibla direction according to your location. To do this, «Kaaba compass - Ramadan calendar» app uses the north direction as a reference and therefore needs the device's magnetic field sensor. Two cases:
• Your device has a reliable magnetic field sensor, There is nothing to do, the Qibla direction is found automatically. However, if your device magnetic sensor is defective or not well calibrate, this indication is not reliable. This problem occurs also if you are near a source of a magnetic field or a metallic mass.
• Your device does not have a magnetic field sensor, You must direct yourself the device to the north as shown in the Qibla screen . You have to know the north direction or use a compass or some other way, to do that.

Fasting timetables during Ramadan and throughout the year function

«Kaaba compass - Ramadan calendar» app calculates for you, every day, accurate fasting begin and fasting end times. This calculation is done automatically according to your location. For your convenience, you have the option of:
•  Setting and activating an alarm for the meal before the fast (Suhoor). The schedule for this alarm is based on the calculated time of fasting begin. So, The setting is done only once.
•  Setting and activating an alarm for the calculated time of fasting begin (Imsak) and fasting end (Iftar). Alarms is really punctual.
•  The alarm may be a ringtone or Azan (prayer call).
•  Set up precautionary times margin for the fasting begin (Imsak) and the fasting end (Iftar).
•  Select a calculation method (relative to sunrise and sunset) among the most used by Muslims around the world.
