Dicionário Priberam for Android allows users to search 16 dictionaries in a single app: 4 dictionaries of contemporary Portuguese (European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese, with and without the spelling reform of 1990) and 12 translation assistants. Searching the dictionaries and the translation assistants requires an Internet connection and can be done with or without the spelling changes prescribed by the spelling reform of 1990.

The official version of Dicionário Priberam for Android was the first to allow the selection of the Brazilian Portuguese or the European Portuguese norm in the presentation of the dictionary entries.
