世道衰危天下溺矣！日月來往添有無窮之變幻，運數轉移實現堪憐之景象。嘆哉！紅塵釀成處處之劫煞，眾生遭受種種之塗炭。斯是天為之歟？抑人為之歟？悲乎潮流趨來，人人競尚維新，倫常拋棄，個個不知守禮。援救天下之至道鮮有人行之矣。雖有三教遺人，多為形色所囿。矧是天命旋歸，真道卷隱，修持者僅得其皮毛而已。屆此天開文運之際，道劫並倡，以劫收殺惡徒孽子，以道挽救善男信女。誠是玉石分班之期，激濁揚清之時。幸爾緣深，得為與師聚首同助道盤，以期將來完成正果，立萬世不朽之基，成千古不泯之業。

爾諸弟子每嘆性道之不易參悟，經典之不易研究，常引為憾事。惟此次講論《清靜經》，猶難瞭解。深感上帝慈憫，特遣茂田為契釋義。然亦係爾等誠心格之者也。得此非常之機緣，休自輕棄。能自永持是師之厚望焉！
