Ways to Level Up in Age of Empires Mobile

There are multiple ways to gain experience and level up your heroes. However, the amount of experience received is quite low, making leveling up your heroes quite a tedious process. The fastest way to get more experience stands to be from spending money in the Shop, but it’s not feasible in the long term. Killing Barbarians

One important point to remember is that you can attack barbarians with 5 troops, and all heroes in those 5 soldiers will gain experience and 5x treasure. If you are a rookie player, we recommend that you always assault with five marchers because you will eliminate barbarians faster, requiring fewer resources to heal troops.

Talent Tree

When you beat barbarians, you receive experience, which you can boost further via the talent tree. Navigate to the talent tree and look for the Field Battle XP talent on the right side of the Military Tactics Mastery tab. There’s a neat talent that states if you beat barbarians, you will gain 5% additional experience. Every hero possesses this ability. A 5% bonus may seem insignificant, but keep in mind that the skill tree in Age of Empires Mobile stacks, so if all three heroes in March have Field Battle XP, they will gain 15% more experience.

VIP Level

VIP levels do not immediately increase your experience gain, but will give you with more stamina production. We all know that in order to eliminate barbarians, you must have stamina. So, with VIP, you’ll gain greater stamina, allowing you to kill more barbarians for experience.

XP Tomes

XP tomes are items that provide a set amount of experience when used on heroes. We recommend that you utilize XP tomes solely on the greatest heroes that you will not have time to level up through barbarians, as well as heroes that you will need to combat other players. Players can get XP tomes from various avenues in the game, such as:
