Players can install and play Black Clover M as a free-to-play title on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
In this article for Black Clover M, we will be sharing some of the biggest mistakes that players tend to make in the early game. Avoiding these mistakes can significantly help you boost the amount of resources you get over time, as well as streamline your line of progression. The game does a great job at slowly introducing new systems and mechanics to players but sometimes you might get impatient and rush to new content. While this isn’t particularly a bad thing, but it can severely impact your account in regard to your peers.
Mistake #1. Focusing too Much on PvP Characters
One of the fanciest game modes that entices a lot of players as soon as they unlock it is the PvP arena. This is different from Real-Time Arena as it does not boast the same amount of strategic complexity and can be enjoyed even at the lower levels. Players can fight the AI controlled characters placed by real players on their defenses. Sadly, the characters used in PvP, are generally different than those used in PvE content such as dungeons, expeditions, story mode, etc. As an early game player, your resources are quite limited. You can use some extra redeem codes to salvage the problem but the situation still persists.
Investing your bleak resources into a specific set of niche characters will be the biggest mistake you can do in the early game. We would highly recommend to build up PvE-oriented characters to have a healthy progression.
Mistake #2. Building the Best Characters Only
This mistake is more so a continuation of the previous point. Even if you build a PvE-oriented team, it’s crucial to build the right characters only. Checking out a complete tier list for the best characters at the time of global launch should be the top priority for any new player. If you invest your scarce resources into useless/low priority characters that get out scaled easily, your overall progression will be severely hampered and you might consider starting from scratch once again. Make sure to pick the best characters from each class, not build all characters from 1 class itself. A diverse team composition is the key trick to cracking the hard stages that you will encounter in the story mode.
Mistake #3. Increasing the Bond of Heroes that you Will Use
The Bond tab can be found in the Mage menu. You can check your Bond Level with each Mage in Black Clover M and view all of them here. Each character can have up to 15 Bond Levels. By working together on missions with other Mages, you can raise the Bond Level. Another effective strategy to raise the Bond level is to send gifts to Mages. Along with new outfits, equipment, and the valuable Black Crystals, you can earn rewards by raising your Bond Level with other Mages. Your Mage stats can also be improved with better bonds. Much like all of the resources in the game, the amount of Gift items you can get are also quite limited at the early game. Invest them only in characters/Mages that you know you will not regret using in your team compositions.
Mistake #4. Prioritize Season 1 Summons over Gateway of Heaven
This might sound stupid at first but it’s actually more logical from a collector’s standpoint. We all known that Gateway of Heaven remains to be the best way to get a free copy of your most wanted character from a select group of characters. These characters are quite powerful and offer a vast amount of improvement for your account. Before you proceed to choosing your desired character in Gateway of Heaven, you should aim to summon characters in the Season 1 Summoning banner that offers the same characters at a rate-up chance. This will avoid you the misery of summoning a duplicate when you eventually wish to summon on the Season 1 Banner.
Mistake #5. The Mage’s Path Guide Missions Should not be Ignored!
The Mage’s Path set of quests are perhaps the most attractive for beginners. These quests are short, simple, and offer a generous set of rewards upon completion. Moreover, they act as a soft tutorial for new players, teaching them about the different game systems and mechanics set in place. Ignoring these free rewards will be the biggest crime you can commit for the health of your account.
It is recommended to play Black Clover M on a PC due to its massive graphical requirements that can put a strain to your smaller capacity device.
