Flame of Valhalla Tips and Tricks to Help You Progress Faster
Flame of Valhalla is a real-time RPG that brings forth a fresh story brewed from elements of Nordic history. A fictional universe where the Sacred Tree and Gods have fallen is picturized, and the only remains left of them are called “Sacred Flames”. Be prepared to encounter tough bosses and challenges in your quest to retrieve all of the Sacred Flames. In this article, we have provided some helpful tips and tricks to guide new players for a smooth journey on their escapades. Let’s start!
Tip #1. Focus on the Main Quests
This is perhaps the most crucial tip that we can give to any new player. The game starts off like any other open-world adventure game with lots of UI elements and red dots. Do not get confused by all the glitter and simply focus on the main quests presented on the left-hand side of the screen. Flame of Valhalla supports auto-combat and auto-pathing in quests from the get-go, making your journey much smoother and the rewards much greater!
You can also take up multiple side quests when you reach the higher levels, but for the sake of new players we would advise against it in the beginning. The main quest also acts as a tutorial for many players as it explains about the different power-up systems to help you increase your account CP (Combat Power).
Tip #2. Recruiting Strong Valkyries
Valkyries are beautiful beings from the supernatural world that can assist you in combat! These majestic creatures come in different rarities, and possess multiple active/passive abilities to help you fend off against enemies. In the beginning, you will be able to get a free copy of Alviert, an amazing light elemental damage dealer.
Keep in mind you need to compete in multiple Trials of the Valkyrie you want to recruit in order to get them free-to-play. Otherwise, some Valkyries are also available via direct purchase through in-game microtransactions. All Valkyries can further be leveled up and starred-up to increase their base stats and unlock new abilities.
Tip #3. Equipment is Key to CP Growth!
Flame of Valhalla also follows the same tropes of RPG games, wherein equipment is given the highest priority when it comes to power increase. You can get equipment from raiding dungeons, trial quests, main quests, and events. Equipment comes in different tiers and rarities. The tiers range from T1 – T9, and the rarities are as follows – Blue, Purple, Golden, and Red. The higher the rarity and tier, the stronger the equipment.
You can also Reforge and Enhance your collected equipment to provide them with suitable sub stats. Each equipment has a base stat and sub-stats. The base stat remains fixed while the sub-stats can be changed. There are 12 equipment slots on your character – Main Weapon, Secondary Weapon, Helmet, Garment, Wristguards, Gloves, Legguards, Boots, Ring, Bracelet, Necklace, and Medal.
Tip #4. Titles are Amazing for your Combat Power!
Yes, Flame of Valhalla is one of those MMOs wherein Titles give you power and stats. It can be quite annoying for a lot of players, especially when the system becomes too much P2W. However, you can still get your hands on some titles as free-to-play by participating in exciting ongoing events. You can also get some Titles via completing some quests pertaining to their acquisition. All such details can be found by clicking on any title and going to the “How to Obtain” section. Keep in mind, Titles may not be the biggest CP booster but they definitely count!
Tip #5. Collecting and Upgrading Mounts!
In this game, mounts make for excellent allies and can come in handy in a variety of circumstances. The mounts are firstly your premium travel partners, allowing you to swiftly travel through locations or engage in combat. In any circumstance, you may make the most of your mount. You are given a free horse at the start of the game to help you travel easily in the vast open-world of Asgard.
Players can enjoy Flame of Valhalla even more on a bigger screen with your keyboard and mouse via BlueStacks!
