The reason the Castle upgradation is so important is because of the benefits it boasts. Firstly, a higher level Castle automatically means a higher amount of combat power for your heroes. Secondly, a higher level castle is also going to allow the player to unlock and build more new buildings, as well as upgrade some of the existing ones. This will increase your resource flow by multiple times your current value.

Understanding the Summoning System
GRAND CROSS: Age of Titans is a hero-collector as well, making use of the innate summoning system titled as “Star Fragments”. You can recruit powerful heroes of differing rarities and factions using this system. However, keep in mind that this system uses either Gems or Prayer Books to summon heroes. These resources are much tougher to obtain and should be spent judiciously. We would advise to refer to a tier list while making a sound decision on which banner you wish to spend these resources on as recruiting a hero which does not sync with your team can lead to devastation and in-efficiency.
