Guardians of Cloudia Class Guide - Which Class is the Best for You?
One of the most crucial aspects of starting out in an MMORPG is choosing your character class. This is because not only will you be playing with your character for extended stretches of time, but your skills, passives, and overall play style will vary greatly according to your decision. Guardians of Cloudia is no exception to this, particularly since this mobile MMORPG lets you choose from among five compelling classes when you first begin your journey. And while there’s a lot of variety, the game doesn’t actually have a logout feature, so you can’t really switch characters unless you close and relaunch the game. In this sense, Guardians of Cloudia doesn’t really want you switching characters mid-game, but committing to playing with just one of them.
With that being said, we believe that choosing the right class for your play style from the very beginning is crucial for your enjoyment of any mobile MMORPG. After all, we wouldn’t really be able to sink countless hours into a game if we’re not having fun with it. In this sense, we wanted to create a guide for beginners that, hopefully, could help you to decide what Guardians of Cloudia class is the best for you. To this end, in the following paragraphs, you’ll find a brief description of every class, alongside general play style tips and tricks.
Play With all Classes at the Same Time With BlueStacks
Before hopping into the class descriptions, however, we wanted to make a quick side note to talk about BlueStacks and how our Android app player can help to enhance your experience with Guardians of Cloudia. Specifically, by playing on PC with BlueStacks, you won’t really need to decide what class to play as you can simply play them all at the same time.
This is made possible through the use of the Instance Manager, a tool that allows you to create multiple iterations of BlueStacks, and access the same game on different accounts simultaneously. Since Guardians of Cloudia is pretty much an auto-play MMORPG, you can easily manage playing on multiple accounts at the same time. Check out our BlueStacks tools guide for this game to learn more about how to use the features of our Android emulator to your advantage in Guardians of Cloudia.
With that being said, let’s move onto talking about the classes.
Rogue – The Best Melee DPS
The Rogue in Guardians of Cloudia is, by far, the strongest character when it comes to close quarters combat, featuring swift attacks, fast movements, and crushing blows that can easily make short work of anything or anyone foolish enough to stand in their path.
One of the defining features of the rogue is its speed, through which he can easily evade enemy attacks while keeping the pressure up at all times. This makes it the de-facto class for those who enjoy fast-paced gameplay. However, since they’re quite fragile, you won’t be using auto-combat with rogues very much, which could be a dealbreaker for some
Archer – Lots of Ranged DPS
Though not nearly as strong in terms of damage output as the rogues, archers can dish out respectable pain, with the upshot that they can do it safely from a distance. In this sense, while archers aren’t as strong as others, their general play style is safer than the others, allowing them to easily solo most of the content, with some exceptions.
Archers are recommended for players that, while still wanting to do tons of damage, don’t want to learn complex classes nor bother too much with movement while fighting.
Mage – The Strongest Magical Class
Mages are the magical equivalent of rogues in the sense that they can deal extraordinary amounts of damage. However, this comes with the drawback that they are extremely fragile, and don’t deal very well with enemies that can rush and pressure them. This is mostly because, while they’re quite powerful, Mages don’t have the mobility of rogues, and make easy targets for strong enemies.
Mages perform at their prime when there are other members in the party that can keep the enemies distracted while they rain destruction on them with a variety of spells.
Swordsman – The Designated Tank of the Bunch
Recommended for beginners and newcomers to Guardians of Cloudia, the Swordsman is, by far, the most resilient class in the game, being able to withstand extreme amounts of punishment without a second thought. This comes with a tradeoff in their offensive potential, particularly since this class doesn’t deal as much damage as mages, rogues, or archers.
If you’re just starting out and you don’t know which class to choose, and aren’t partial to any particular play style, the Swordsman will definitely be your best choice.
Oracle – Unrivaled Support and Healing
While every other class we’ve mentioned so far has, more or less, roles that revolve constantly around dealing damage, oracles are actually the opposite as their utility comes from actually healing damage and supporting their teams.
While swordsmen are the most resilient characters regarding their personal defense stats, oracles can actually outlive them since they have tons of powerful heals and supporting spells to keep their HP topped up at all times. And though their damage potential is nearly non-existent, oracles are a mainstay in most groups as they will be the only units responsible for keeping everyone alive when doing the tougher content. In this sense, remember to always thank your healer after finishing a difficult challenge!
