In this article for Magical Girl: Idle Pixel Hero, we will be providing all the different methods through which players can power up their character. Players who follow these methods can experience a note-worthy increase in their stats!

Method #1. Levelling Up

Levelling up is considered as the best and most premiere method to power up your character in Magical Girl: Idle Pixel Hero. This is simply because by levelling up, players can see an incremental increase in base stats, which are much more valuable than additive stats given by buffs and equipment. By levelling up, players can increase their characters Attack, Health, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage. All of these stats will help your character survive more, all the while dealing a ton of damage. To level up, players require Gold in large quantities.

Method #2. Transcendence

Transcendence is also one of the highest value growth yielding method in Magical Girl: Idle Pixel Hero. It takes into account the base transcendence path of the character. Players start their transcendence level from 0, but it can go all the way to 30. Each transcendence level increases the base stats of the character, along with granting bonus abilities at certain levels. Here are the core rules of this system:

• You can increase various stats by transcending the character. -When transcending, the transcendence effect gradually appears on the character. (Up to 30 levels)
• For every 3 levels of transcendence, the maximum number of dungeon and dimensional key purchases increases by 1.
• For every 10 levels of transcendence, the maximum number of exploration key purchases increases by 1.
• You can acquire magic attribute points when transcending from level 20 onwards.
• You can transcend up to phase 140, after which Character Awakening is automatically unlocked.

Method #3. Runes

Runes are going to be extremely helpful when it comes to providing extra stats for your collected equipment, and costumes. Runes are also used for increasing multiple core stats such as Defense, Defense PEN, Crit DMG, Gold, and more.  Here are the core rules of this system:

• Level up Runes to get various effects using Rune Fragments, that can be obtained from the Warped Dimension, and Mana Stones. – As granting Runes becomes more inefficient at higher levels, some options may show only a slight increase after granting Runes. However, as DEF Rate runes are always crucial, we recommend you grant runes consistently.
• From Abyss stage 50-1 or higher, you can use Chaos Crystals and Mana Stones to enhance runes. Runes were designed to be a place where you can use your leftover resources, so we recommend granting runes when you have leftover Mana Stones.
• Stat increases for enchanting Runes are as follows.
• Orb’s Enchantment Rune: 3% increase in compound rate per enchantment -> Costume’s Enchantment Rune: 3% increase in compound rate per enchantment -> Movement SPD Rune: Increases the total by 10 per enchantment
• Crit DMG Rune: Increases the total by 2% per enchantment -> Crit Rate Rune: Increases the total by 10% per enchantment
• DEF PEN Rune: Increases the total by 1.2% per enchantment
• DEF Rune: Increases the total by 0.4% per enchantment
• Gold Acquisition Rune: 2% increase in compound rate per enchantment

Method #4. Equipment

Equipment come in 5 types in Magical Girl: Idle Pixel Hero:

• Orbs

• Costume

• Earrings

• Rings

• Necklace

Each of these equipment come in different rarities and offer a variety of stats that are additive in nature. Additive stats mean stats that are added on top of the base stats. They are quite valuable as well, as they can help your character get increased Attack, Defense, Health, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Def Pen, and more! Players can expect to get majority of the equipment’s from the gear dungeon. Alternatively, players can also get high quality of Orbs and Costumes from the Summoning system in the Shop. Further, each of these equipment can be enhanced to give more value and increased stats.
