Understand the Core Gameplay Mechanics of Manga Battle Frontier

At its heart, Manga Battle Frontier is an Idle RPG (Role-Playing Game) that let’s players summon and combine heroes. As you complete more challenges, you will acquire more chests that can be opened for resources to improve the strength of your heroes. These resources are known as “Idle” resources as they accumulate even when you’re not playing the game actively. Played in a portrait landscape, the main battle screen is located in the middle wherein you can see your deployed heroes in action as they clear out waves of enemies at a time.

Since Manga Battle Frontier is an Idle game, the actual battles do not command any manual intervention. In fact, there is no option to do so. You simply need to prepare a squad of heroes to deploy on the battle screen and they will automatically cast their abilities without the need to press any extra buttons. The battles work out in a turn-based order, wherein each ally and enemy on the battlefield attack on their individual turn.

Your overall stats of the heroes matter much more than any strategy you might think of developing. The game can get quite stat hungry at the higher battle stages, so make sure to upgrade your heroes and synthesize them as well. We will be explaining more about this system in detail.

Synthesis

The synthesis system of the game is what makes it stand out from the rest of the Idle games in the market. In this system, there are several grades of heroes, starting with White as the lowest and Red as the highest grade. Players can increase the grade of their heroes by merging them together, or synthesizing. Keep in mind, only 2 heroes of the same grade can be synthesised together to create a hero of the next grade. The grades are as follows, in order:

• White grade
  
• Green grade
  
• Blue grade
  
• Purple grade
  
• Red grade
  

The higher the grade, the better the base stats of the hero. Plus, higher grade heroes can be leveled up further than lower grade heroes, making them naturally stronger.

Heroes

In Manga Battle Frontier, players can view their owned heroes by going to the “Heroes” tab on the bottom left-hand side. This menu showcases all your owned heroes and hero shards. Even if you have shards of some heroes, you cannot summon them until you have the required quantity. Heroes can be viewed according to level, name, grade, etc. Further, you can empower your heroes in this section. The best way to impart extra stats to the hero is by simply levelling them up. Each level up requires using some EXP potions. You can get this currency via playing the game, completing quests, redeem codes, events, and more avenues.

Events

Since Manga Battle Frontier is a live-service game, it also features plenty of online events that players can participate in to earn juicy rewards. These events can be seen in the “Benefits” tab located on the top right-hand side. Keep in mind, some of the events may be level locked so it’s safe to explore them after you’ve reached at least level 20. This feat shouldn’t take much time as you rampage through the campaign mode. There are multiple different types of events, ranging from simple login based to full-fledged limited-time events that require you to complete certain objectives.

Summoning System

The summoning system in Manga Battle Frontier is quite straightforward. This system entails that players can summon different grades of heroes at different probabilities. The probabilities of summoning different grades of heroes are as follows:

• Random red hero/shard – 5% chance of being summoned
• Purple hero – 20% chance of being summoned
• Blue hero – 30% chance of being summoned
• Green hero – 45% chance of being summoned

Each day, all players will get 1 free summon that resets on a daily basis. Otherwise, you will need to use your Diamonds to summon for heroes. A 10-pull costs 2400 diamonds while a single pull costs 300 diamonds.
