NBA 2K24 has taken the breath away out of most basketball gamers, and rightfully so with advanced graphics, new character cards, game modes, and arenas! The game has been classified as one of the most popular titles on Steam. While all this glory can create hype for a game, we have to say that more seasoned veterans have figured out tons of glitches to exploit in-game resources. In this article, we are going to be talking about one such glitch that multiple players are abusing to potentially get unlimited VC in the long term!

The Unlimited VC Glitch

Firstly, let’s make some thing clear. This glitch only works in a specific arena in City Games. The core aim for the user is to simply get the ball in their hands. Do remember that you need a 6-8 build for this to work. It is a 3-in-one build that focuses on locking down your opponent, post-scoring, and sharpshooting. These builds can have anywhere from a 90 standing up to 98 standing in the dunk metrics. Further, these builds have high midi and 3-pointers, making opponents scared to let the user with the ball shoot freely.

Now, remember when we said this build focuses on locking down. Hence, it’s really difficult to get the ball from them. Once the person with the 6-8 build scores and you get the ball, it’s quite tough to recover from the setback as you will need to score 100% of the time to keep up with your opponent. If you miss a shot, or get the ball stolen, it’s pretty much game over for you as the score difference will pile up.

The 6-8 drop stepper build allows players to have a higher steal rating, perimeter range, and the same block rating as any other build. Also, remember when we told you it only works in the City Games court? Well, it’s because steals are super easy in this court and can lead to massive abuse by your enemy.

Tactics of the 6-8 Build

The core tactics outside of the build is to simply fake pass or do the Kobe triple threat in the paint near the rim. This will push the opponent out of the way, and make room for an easy shoot. Essentially, it forces you to play perfect while the opponent can simply run you down, steal more efficiently, and shoot more efficiently. While there are no perfect counters to this build, you can use a 96 interior build to help you with post move lockdown Hall of Fame. Being Tall also helps a lot. But even such counter builds have so low success rates that they cannot be called a “counter” build.
