Understanding the Combat Mechanics

Order & Chaos: Guardians has a rather linear progression curve with the battles being mostly automated. Players can complete the Expedition mode and take up new quests to get more resources. The combat side of the game is simple to learn but tough to execute at the higher levels. The true strategy lies in team-building and countering the enemy formations. Your team can have up to 5 distinct heroes on the battlefield. This allows for a lot of synergy and tact-building between your heroes. You need to look for the strongest heroes in the roster and make up a team that boosts their utility. 

Check out all your acquired heroes’ skills and abilities before placing them in your roster. A higher grade hero will give out more utility than a lower grade one. This happens due to differences in base stats as well as better abilities. You have the opportunity to arrange your line-up and observe the opponents’ line-up prior to the battle commencing. The key to winning battles is selecting the appropriate heroes, making meticulous plans, and strategically applying abilities. Before the battle begins, make sure your lineup is strong and synergized. 

Expedition

Expedition is the primary PvE single player game mode available for all players once they start their journey. It is divided into multiple chapters, each tougher than the previous one. Players can traverse through these chapters and earn multiple useful resources for their account, such as Gold, premium currency, and scrolls. Additionally, your heroes in the line-ups will get massive amounts of experience that will help them level up. If you’re feeling stuck in progressing through any quest, make sure you check up your progress in the Expedition mode for more resources and rewards. 

The game does a great job by mentioning the required team power before you even start any battle. This helps in countering enemy team composition and positioning yourself in a befitting condition to win your battles. Expedition also helps new players unlock new game modes and content, in addition to increasing your account level. 

Hero Growth and Training 

Gaining the upper hand in battle requires strengthening your heroes. To increase your heroes’ fighting strength and enhance important attributes, start by leveling them up with resources. As they advance to the highest levels, breakthroughs grant them access to new skills, enhancing their adaptability. For your heroes to perform better in fights, you must upgrade their skills. 

It’s essential to arm your heroes with gear to increase their strength and give them an advantage in tactical combat. The game also includes features like the ability to reset your character’s level and receive a 100% refund for the resources used to level up. Unwanted heroes can also be used for your hero management by offering them as sacrifices in exchange for blessings. Regular training guarantees that your heroes develop into formidable fighters who get stronger every time they face a challenge.

Factions

Each hero in the game is assigned a Faction. The true synergy lies between acquiring heroes from the same faction to gain an advantage. Keep in mind, there are 5 distinct factions:

• Defiant – Strong against Nature Keepers but weak against Sentinel.
• Nature Keepers– Strong against Sentinel but weak against Defiant.
• Sentinel – Strong against Defiant but weak against Nature Keepers.
• Light – It is both weaker and stronger against Dark.
• Dark – It is both weaker and stronger against Light.

Each faction has its own strengths and weaknesses. Having a keen understanding of each factions’ pros and cons can lead to a better progression rate and ease in combat situations. 

Castle

In Order & Chaos: Guardians, the castle is essential to your overall development since it progressively unlocks different features as you advance through the stages. Pressing on frameworks unlocks a range of features that change as you go, providing new benefits and chances. The Castle also has a beneficial feature of giving you AFK rewards without worrying about playing the game. These rewards stack up over a period of time and yield amazing resources as rewards.

Summoning System
