RAID: Shadow Legends – Opardin Clanfather Fragment Fusion Guide
A new legendary champion Opardin Clanfather is up for grabs in this newest fragment fusion event of RAID: Shadow Legends. Opardin Clanfather is a legendary Magic affinity HP type champion from the Barbarians faction that is going to be available for fusion during the Fragment fusion event starting from 17th January 2022 and lasts till 2nd February 2022. Opardin Clanfather is a special limited-time fragment fusion for the month of January. He’s also the first champion fusion event for the year 2022. His champion design looks cool but his in-game abilities and potential is doubtful compared to some of the other fusion champions we have seen in the past. This will be an in-depth guide on the various ways available for players to obtain fragments to complete the fusion event for Opardin Clanfather.
Opardin Clanfather is a Magic Affinity Legendary Champion from the Barbarians Faction. He has a bit of a weak skill set and is an HP Type Champion. We are calling it weak because we feel he requires a lot of champions to activate his usability in content and given it’s a legendary grade champion, we wished it had some more of a touch to his kit. Opardin Clanfather is going to be a healer/support for your team and he does with the help of his 2nd ability Rally the tribe which states he will do an AOE targeted damaging attack while healing all allies based on the damage he does with this skill. Keep in mind that the damage of his skills scale with his HP and generally it’s good since he’s an HP based champion and wants to be geared for more HP. Opardin Clanfather heals allies who are under Continuous Heal buffs and we will see a pattern with this going forward with him. He’s a champion who needs a lot of Continuous Heals on allies to keep them healed up. He also provides these Continuous Heal buffs with his skills along with a cleanse. Overall, we feel he’s a very niche champion and can be used in Faction Wars, Campaign mode, and maybe an Arena Defense stall team when paired with champions like Bad El Kazar or Tuhanark.
During this Fusion event, Plarium provides Fragments for the champion in multiple Events and Tournaments. Keep in mind that these events and tournaments will take a lot of your time if you’re going to manually play the game since Plarium only provides 30 instances of Auto-Battles per day. But don’t worry, you can easily bypass the hard grinding by simply using BlueStacks macro recorder to record your runs and keep re-running it.
Opardin Clanfather Champion Skills
Opardin Clanfather is an HP-based Support type champion from the Barbarians Faction. Being a Legendary Tier champion, his base stats are pretty solid at a base HP of 22,470 and Base Defense of 870. Opardin Clanfather is a niche healer/support type champion as he removes debuffs from all allies and replaces them with Continuous Heal buffs for 2 turns each. However, he will only remove Block Buff and Heal Reduction debuffs from allies and only 1 extra random debuff. He does all this with the help of his 3rd ability Clan Mentor. He also heals all allies who have Continuous Heal buffs with the help of his 2nd ability Rally the Tribe which states Opardin Clanfather deals damage to all enemies according to his MAX HP and heals them by 10% of his MAX HP. He will heal for 15% of his MAX HP to allies who are under Continuous Heal buffs.
Opardin Clanfather’s 1st skill Paired Hammers is a single targeted damaging ability that hits 2 times with each hit having a 50% chance to reduce the enemy’s turn-meter by 5% and fill his own turn-meter by 5%. Hence, it’s a relatively bad skill compared to some of the other legendary grade champions as the percentage is too low and RNG dependent. His passive ability Paternal states that Opardin Clanfather will increase the turn-meter of allies who are healed by Continuous Heal buffs by 5%. However, only 1 skill that does this can exist. He feels a very niche healer as his healing output seems low compared to what other legendary Healers and even some epic grade healers can bring to the table. He can be used in Faction Wars as well as some Arena defenses to stall players. We recommend players to build Opardin Clanfather with Immortal, Divine Life, Speed, and Relentless artifact sets with a focus Speed, HP%, and Resistance% as stats.
Here is a list of Opardin Clanfather’s skills in detail: –
Paired Hammers [ATK]
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 50% chance of decreasing the target’s Turn Meter by 5% and a 50% chance of filling this Champion’s Turn Meter by 5%.
Rally the Tribe [ATK]
Attacks all enemies. Heals all allies by 10% of this Champion’s MAX HP. Heals all allies under [Continuous Heal] buffs by 15% instead.
Clan Mentor [ATK]
Removes all [Block Buffs] and [Heal Reduction] debuffs from all allies, then places two 15% [Continuous Heal] buffs on all allies for 2 turns. Also has a 75% chance of removing 1 random debuff from all allies.
Paternal (Passive)
Each time a [Continuous Heal] buff heals an ally, fills that ally’s Turn Meter by 5%. If there are multiple Champions in the team with this Skill, only one will activate.
Opardin Clanfather Fusion Event Guide
Opardin Clanfather is a Fragment Fusion. By Fragment fusions, we mean that Opardin Clanfather needs 100 of his champion fragments to be unlocked or fused. These fragments can be found in various Events and Tournaments and can be achieved in reaching certain milestones in them. Pretty simple, right? It is simple; however, we will give a detailed guide on how to manage your resources to obtain enough fragments to fuse Opardin Clanfather.

Here is the list:-

Preparation for these Events and Tournaments
As we can see from the timings of these Events and Tournaments presented by Plarium, many of these collide with each other. If you are confused by what some of the terms mean or where some of the locations of the dungeons and events are, here is a helpful guide. Now doing every event and tournament 1 by 1 will drain your resources very quickly, and you will be left with insufficient fragments to fuse Opardin Clanfather. You might need to spend gems to refill energy for completing the remaining events and tournaments.
This is where efficient planning and using your resources judiciously comes in. In this guide, we will give you all the essential tips and tricks to help you in your journey of fusing the legendary champion Opardin Clanfather. Energy and Silver will be your 2 biggest resources, and if you have enough of these saved up, things will go more smoothly for you. But if you don’t have them stored don’t fret, we are here for you! Take a look at our preparation process for Opardin Clanfather Fusion here:-
17th January – 2nd February:
- Spider Tournament: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at 2250 Points)
- Champion Training Event Part 1: 10 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at 3000/6500 Points each)
For Spider Tournament, the tournament is simple as you can achieve the milestone of 2250 points by doing 140 runs of Stage 20 in the Spiders Dungeon which will cost you around 2250-2300 energy if we include some failed runs. We recommend doing Stage 20 instead of Stage 25 in these tournaments related to farming dungeons because of the efficiency per energy used purpose.
Champion Training Tournaments are all about leveling up your champions, promoting the ranks of your champions, and ascending your champions. For champion training tournaments, make sure to have lots of resources like potions, fodder for ranking up champions as well as energy/brews for leveling up champions. This event is extremely grindy and can take a lot of time if you were not prepared beforehand. Champion Training tournament can be completed by farming the campaign mode! It will also help you in completing the Dungeon diver’s event which will be coming in the next 2 days. Champion leveling, promotion, and ascension all count towards points for the champion training tournament. If you have some brews saved up, this is the perfect time to use them to level up your champions. We recommend to farm food and 6-Star some of the champions that you have been wanting to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at 3300 Points each)
This event is again very straightforward but can drain a lot of your silver reserves. If you were not prepared, then you might have to spend your precious energy to farm silver coins for upgrading your equipment. Here are a few tips to achieve those 2625 points: –
- You can pre-roll your artifacts till Lvl 7/11/15 and then simply spend silver to upgrade to the next level as you get points only after upgrading artifacts to LVL 4,8,12 and 16 with the highest points being given at 6-star LVL 16 artifact upgrades.
- You can level up 3 6-Star artifacts to level 16 to easily complete this event in a go
- Save up to roughly 6 million silver per artifact enhancement event, as this amount is roughly what it takes to complete these events.
However, if you have enough silver or artifacts upgraded to a certain level, then feel free to use it to complete this event. It also takes a lot of time because the general upgrading speed for artifacts is very slow, and it fails many times as well. However, if you use BlueStacks Eco mode, you can significantly speed up this process and save so much time!
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 1: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at 2400 Points)
Dungeon Divers events are usually all about farming the Dungeons – Spider’s Den, Ice Golem, Fire Knight, Dragon’s, Potion Keeps, or Minotaurs Labyrinth. For this dungeon divers event, we recommend farming Spiders Den Stage 20 as this event will be running alongside the Spiders Tournament, hence, you can get points for both the event and tournament by farming Spiders Den dungeon. The target of 2400 is easily achievable in the given timeframe of 3 days. Completing both of these events and tournaments will net you 10 total Opardin Clanfather champion fragments. Let’s see where to get the rest of the fragments from.
- Dragon Tournament: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
This tournament asks you to spend energy and farm the Dragon’s Den dungeon. This tournament can be easily completed if you have the energy saved up and if you can farm Dragons Stage 20. We don’t have the information as to how many points are required for getting the 5 fragments but we have an estimate of about 2250 points as we are seeing the tradition in this fusion event till now for dungeon-related tournaments, particularly for the previous Spiders Tournament. This dragon tournament will be coinciding with the Dungeon divers event part 1 which is ongoing currently. Players can easily farm dragons’ stage 20 to get points for both the event and the tournament.
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Classic Arena Takedown is just about winning in the Arena. You will get points per win according to the tier you are currently fighting in the Arena. For example, in Bronze 1 you will get 1 point per win and in Silver 1, you will get 4 points per win in the tournament. The point threshold will also change if you are in the lower leagues so do not worry. Make sure to use all your Arena tokens as well as the daily refreshes from the quests and playtime rewards.
- Champion Chase Tournament: 20 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X/X Points)
A champion chase tournament can put a big hole in your resource pocket, and you should not go for it if you have already completed the summon rush event. There is a confirmation of 2X Voids summoning event during the duration of this champion chase tournament but we highly recommend not burning your shards unless you have saved up massive amounts that can guarantee you the 20 fragments. We, instead recommend you to go to the 1st milestone of 1150 points if possible and use the rest of your shards during the Summon Rush event. This is because champion chase tournaments only reward you with points depending on the quality of champion summoned instead of the quality of shard used. Hence, they are more susceptible to RNG. We highly recommend skipping this tournament unless having an abundance of shards to summon.
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
- Fire Knight Tournament: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Dungeon divers event part 2 is starting on 24th January and lasts for 3 total days which is ample time for players to reach the given milestone. The milestone for this even will be probably low since it only contains 5 fragments. Players can also enjoy the benefit of completing the event and tournament both by just farming the Fire Knights Dungeon as the Fire Knight tournament will be starting around the same time for the benefit of the players. Farm Stage 20 of the Fire Knights till you complete the threshold required to get the fragments from the tournament and complete the rest of the Dungeon Divers event by farming for food and silver in preparation for the upcoming Champion Training tournaments or events.
- Champion Training Tournament: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Champion training event gets the same advice as before. It’s all about leveling, promoting, and ascending your owned champions. If you have a lot of fodder saved up or summoned, then this will be a breeze for you. We don’t know the point requirement but we feel it will be an easily achievable one.
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
- Ice Golem Tournament: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Ice Golem tournament is easily completed by farming the Ice Golem dungeon stage 20. Keep in mind that the dungeon divers event starts on the last day of the Ice Golem tournament ends so you will have to be energy efficient and wait till the last day to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Spend your gems if needed to recover energy. Players can complete both the event and tournament once the Dungeon divers event starts on 29th January. Artifact enhancement event is the same as usual. Players should have collected more amounts of silver during the previous tournaments by farming the various stages. This should help in easily enhancing your gear and getting those juicy points for 5 more fragments of Opardin Clanfather.
- Summon Rush Event: 20 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X/X Points)
Summon Rush event is very straightforward, the more you summon the more points you get. The quality of shards also hampers the number of points you get. The quality of champions, however, does not affect the number of points obtained in this event. Here are the points received depending on the shard: –
Mystery Shard: 1 Point
Ancient Shard: 20 Points
Void Shard: 100 Points
Sacred Shard: 500 Points
We recommend going for at least the first milestone for 5 fragments because the total number of fragments available is 105. You can extend till the 2nd milestone depending on how many shards you have. If you did not spend any in the champion chase tournament, then this 2nd milestone should be doable depending on the point milestone. Keep in mind that this Summon rush will be clashing with the 10X Boost up the event so it might be worth summoning if you like any of the champions available during the 10X.
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 3: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
Dungeon divers event part 3 is the 3rd iteration of Dungeon Divers events and it coincides with the Ice Golem tournament on the day it starts. Make sure to farm the Ice Golems dungeon during this time to get the benefit of completing both the event and tournament by just farming the Ice Golem dungeon. For the Classic Arena Takedown tournament, the advice remains the same players need to keep refreshing the arena for easier fights and get the victories. Use your daily arena refreshes from the daily quests and playtime rewards.
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 3: 5 Opardin Clanfather Fragments (Obtained at X Points)
This is the last event for Opardin Clanfather fragment fusion as well as the 3rd iteration of Artifact Enhancement. This event could be skippable if you already have 100 fragments for Opardin Clanfather but if not then complete it by spending your silver to upgrade gear.
