Plarium has just finished the festivities of their 3rd anniversary in RAID: Shadow Legends, their most popular game. Players experienced a ton of events and rewards offered for the anniversary in the turn-based RPG. As per tradition for 2 years, Plarium is offering another new legendary champion called Helicath, a Spirit affinity legendary champion from the Demonspawn faction. This legendary champion is up for grabs in a classic stylized fusion which Plarium loves to throw in between the regular fragment fusion events to obtain the legendary champions. In a Classic stylized fusion of traditional fusion, players are usually expected to do a lot more grinding and require more resources to complete the fusion event. Before we start the guide for the Helicath fusion event, we must say that the event has already started on 9th June 2022 and ends on 26th June 2022.

In traditional fusion events, players will need to get the rare champions required for the fusion from the different events and tournaments lined up. Further, they will need to level and promote them to fuse into the required Epic champion called Kinagashi. The players will then have to level and upgrade the 4 copies of this Epic champion obtained from using the Rare Champions to Level 50 at 5 Stars to fuse Helicath. This will be an in-depth guide on the various ways available for players to obtain the different rare champions and fuse the legendary champion for June 2022 – Helicath.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Helicath is a Defense-type Spirit Affinity Legendary tier champion from the Demonspawn faction that specializes in putting up Shields that scale with your Defense for all allies as well as providing Block Damage for 2 turns! Block damage buff is extremely sought after in the Arena since it negates any type of incoming damage. Helicath, being a legendary tier champion has some massive base stats like a base Defense of 1443, and a base HP of 19,165. Helicath can also be viable for the Demon Clan Boss and Hydra Clan Boss due to his Weaken debuff he brings to the table as well as the Shields he provides for allies. Apart from the abilities, his passive lets him increase his Defense further by 5% per Block Damage buffs in the team. Helicath is looking out to be one of the best fusion champions for the year 2022 just like Brogni the Underpriest was in 2021. We highly recommend players to fuse Helicath if they have the resources and time to go for it.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

During this Fusion event, Plarium provides 4 rare champions in multiple Events and Tournaments at certain point requirements. In some events and tournaments, even the Epic champion can be found but at quite a high point requirement. Players will then have to manually level and ascend them to 5 stars level 50 to Fuse Helicath. Keep in mind that these events and tournaments will take a lot of your time if you’re going to manually play the game since Plarium only provides 30 instances of Auto-Battles per day. But don’t worry, you can easily bypass the hard grinding by simply using the BlueStacks macro recorder to record your runs and keep re-running it.

Helicath Champion Skills

Helicath is a legendary grade Spirit affinity champion from the Demonspawn faction. He is listed as a Defense-type champion and all his skills damage scales according to his Defense stat. Helicath’s base Defense is 1443 which is pretty high compared to other champions of similar grade. His 1st skill Pyroclastic Claw is a single targeted damaging skill that deals damage to enemies 2 times, hence, being a 2-hitter. Each hit by Helicath will have a 30% chance to apply a Weaken debuff for 2 turns and this skill ignores any Block Damage and Shield buffs. His 2nd skill Winds of the Pit is an AOE targeted damaging skill that deals damage to all enemies and further applies a Shield buff to all allies for 2 turns. The Shield’s strength is directly proportional to Helicath’s own Defense.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Helicath’s 3rd skill Devoted Servants is an AOE buffing skill that provides a Block Damage buff for 2 turns to all allies. The passive effect of this ability states that if the Block Damage buff provided by this ability is stolen, removed, or expired, then Helicath places an Increased Defense buff for 2 turns to that ally. His passive ability Feast of Agony states that Helicath will be getting a 5% increased Defense per Block Damage buff present on allies. The second part of this passive states that Helicath will counterattack the enemy which attacks any ally with Block Damage debuff. However, this effect can occur only once per turn.

Helicath Fusion Event Guide

Helicath is a traditional fusion where players need to fuse him by having 4 epic champions at level 50 and ascending fully. Like many times, players require 4 copies of a single new Epic champion – Kinagashi which can further be fused with the help of 4 new rare champions. All of the rare champions and 1 Epic champion can be found in various Events and Tournaments and can be collected by reaching certain milestones in them. Pretty simple, right? It is simple; however, we will give a detailed guide on how to manage your resources to obtain enough resources to fuse them. Let’s see who the new Epic champion required for fusing Helicath is: –

  • Kinagashi (Spirit Affinity)

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Further, players will need 16 copies of the new rare champion to fuse them into the above-mentioned Epic champion. The new Rare champion is:

  • Lamibur (Spirit Affinity)

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

We will now list the various events and tournaments through which you will be able to obtain copies of these new champions.

Here is the list: –

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 1 (June 9th – 12th)
  • Dragon Tournament (June 9th – 12th)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1 (June 10th – 13th)
  • Champion Chase Tournament (June 10th – 13th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1 (June 12th – 15th)
  • Champion Training Event (June 12th – 16th)
  • Ice Golem Tournament (June 13th – 16th)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2 (June 14th – 18th)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2 (June 16th -19th)
  • Fire Knight Tournament (June 17th – 20th)
  • Summon Rush Tournament (June 17th – 20th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2 (June 17th – 21st)
  • Champion Training Tournament (June 19th – 23rd)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 3 (June 21st – 24th)
  • Spider Tournament (June 21st – 24th)

Preparation for these Events and Tournaments

As we can see from the timings of these Events and Tournaments presented by Plarium that many of these collide with each other. If you are confused by what some of the terms mean or where some of the locations of the dungeons and events are, here is a helpful guide.  Now completing every event and tournament 1 by 1 will drain your resources very quickly, and you will be left with insufficient rare champions to fuse one copy of the Epic champion. You might need to spend gems to refill energy for completing the remaining events and tournaments.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

This is where efficient planning and using your resources judiciously comes in. Energy and Silver will be your 2 biggest resources, and if you have enough of these saved up, things will go more smoothly for you. But if you don’t have them stored don’t fret, we are here for you! Take a look at our preparation process for Helicath Fusion here: –

9th – 26th June 2022 –

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 1: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at 2850 Points)
  • Dragon Tournament: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at 2250 Points)

As per tradition, it looks like the first 2 events and tournaments for Helicath fusion event are going to be the standard combination of a dungeon farming event along with a specific dungeon tournament. Players can easily complete both the event and tournament by simply farming the Dragons Den dungeon multiple times. This is like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone due to the Dungeon divers event’s requirement of obtaining artifacts from any source. Combine this condition along with the Dragons tournament condition of farming Dragons dungeon and collecting the highest rarity grade artifacts and you got one of the best combinations of event and tournament offered to players.

Plarium usually does this intentionally to minimize the grinding time that is usually taken up by these events and tournaments. This time, players will also be enjoying a Super Raid for the Dragon dungeon which lets players farm double the artifacts from a single dungeon run, costing double the energy as well. Players can simply checkmark the Super Raid option to start the grind. This halves the overall time to complete this event and tournament. We recommend farming Stage 20 of Dragons dungeon to get the best efficiency for completing the tournament milestone and getting your 1st copy of Lamibur. Players can do this in under 2250 energy spent on average, equating to around 1 energy per 1 point for the tournament. For the remainder of the points required to get Lamibur from the Dungeon divers event, we recommend farming campaign mode and getting the fodder ready to make the promoting process easier and prepare for the champion training event.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at 330 Points)
  • Champion Chase Tournament: Lamibur Champion/ Lamibur Champion (Obtained at 1150/ 2500 Points)

Classic Arena Takedown tournaments are all about getting them victories in the Classic Arena game mode. Keep in mind that only victories count and not defeats or draws. That too, victories when you attack enemy players and not when enemies attack your Defense. Players can achieve this easy target of 330 Points by making use of their daily Arena tokens as well as the daily refreshes. The way these tournaments work is that players in the lower Arena tiers gain lesser points for the tournament but their target milestones are also lowered according to the tier. We recommend not being greedy and taking your time in choosing the easier enemies.

The champion chase tournament is going to be the first summoning-based tournament for this fusion event. These events require the player to summon champions using any method, unlike Summon Ruse where players are rewarded based on the quality of the shard used. Champion chase tournaments are best for players who have been saving their fragments of epic and legendary champions as even summoning champions from collected fragments provides a ton of points. Players are rewarded based on the quality of champion they obtain. Legendary champions get 500 points while Epic champions get 250 points. This can make this tournament quite tricky as it depends on your luck if you do not have fragments saved and are depending on shards. To make things easier, Plarium is running a 2X Ancient Shard event alongside to give players a boosted chance of summoning Epic and Legendary champions.

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at 2500 Points)
  • Champion Training Event: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)

Artifact Enhancement events are simple but drain a lot of silver resources. We haven’t had a new fusion in a while so if you were clever, you should have enough resources by regularly using your energy daily. If you were not prepared, then you might have to spend your precious energy to farm silver coins for upgrading your equipment. Here are a few tips to achieve those 2500 points:-

  1. You can pre-roll your artifacts till Lvl 7/11/15 and then simply spend silver to upgrade to the next level as you get points only after upgrading artifacts to LVL 4,8,12 and 16 with the highest points being given at 6-star LVL 16 artifact upgrades.
  2. You can level up 3 6-Star artifacts to level 16 to easily complete this event in a go
  3. Save up to roughly 6 million silver per artifact enhancement event, as this amount is roughly what it takes to complete these events.

However, if you have enough silver or artifacts upgraded to a certain level, then feel free to use them to complete this event. It also takes a lot of time because the general upgrading speed for artifacts is very slow, and it fails many times as well. Although, if you use BlueStacks Eco mod, you can significantly speed up this process and save so much time!

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Champion Training events are similar to Champion training tournaments but they are presented in an event format where you do not compete against other players. Players need to level up their champions, promote the ranks of their champions, and ascend their champions in order to get points for this event. Here are some of our tips and tricks to complete this event efficiently:

  1. Always remember to level up your chickens before using them to promote your champions.
  2. Do not waste brews to level up champions who are already at a high level as the efficiency of brews decreases drastically if used on high-level champions.
  3. Use Mystery shards to generate more fodder if you are out of low-rank champions.
  • Ice Golem Tournament: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)

Ice Golem tournament requires the player to farm the Ice Golem dungeon repeatedly in order to get the juicy artifacts from them. Players get rewarded according to the rarity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Hence, it is advised to farm Stage 20 of Ice Golem to get the best efficiency per energy ratio. Players can also farm Stage 25 for faster completion of the tournament but it is slightly inefficient due to the high energy requirement. Players can farm Stage 20 of Ice Golem over 140 times to get the point milestone check-marked which will be likely 2250 points. It is also expected that a Super Raid for Ice Golem dungeon will be live around the time the tournament starts.

Dungeon divers event part 2 is the second edition of this type of event. Players can simply farm the Ice Golem dungeon to get points for both the tournament and event. This will significantly lower the energy requirement and double the rewards.

  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Fire Knight Tournament: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)

Classic Arena Takedowns tournaments are easy and straightforward. Players need to win matches in the Arena, refresh the list for easier opponents, and always use the daily Arena token refreshes that you get from completing daily missions. Remember that the point requirements scale according to your current Arena tier. Hence, if you are in a low tier like Bronze 1, the number of points required to get Lamibur will be lower than a player who’s in Gold 5.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

The Fire Knight tournament requires the player to farm the Fire Knight dungeon repeatedly and loot the artifacts obtained from it. Players will be rewarded according to the quality and rarity of the artifacts obtained. We recommend farming Stage 20 of the Fire Knights dungeon for at least a minimum of 140 times which should consume around 2250 energy. Players can also expect a Super Raid event for the Fire Knight dungeon which will lessen the time taken to complete the tournament. Players should try to complete this tournament on the 1st and 2nd day itself to double down and get points for the ongoing Dungeon divers event as well.

  • Summon Rush Tournament: Lamibur Champion/Kinagashi Champion (Obtained at X/X Points)

Summon Rush tournament is very straightforward as well, the more you summon the more points you get. The quality of shards also hampers the number of points you get. The quality of champions, however, does not affect the number of points obtained in this event. Here are the points received depending on the quality of the shard: –

Mystery Shard: 1 Point

Ancient Shard: 20 Points

Void Shard: 100 Points

Sacred Shard: 500 Points

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Champion Training Tournament: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)

Another Artifact Enhancement event means you will need to use more of your silver resources to complete the event. With the introduction of the Instant Upgrade feature, it’s super easy and efficient to complete these events, provided that you have enough silver resources. Champion training tournament is all about upgrading your champions and making them stronger. Players will be having a ton of time to complete this tournament, however, if you’re running low on brews and chickens, you might want to spend energy in the campaign to farm fodder and level up champions. Feel free to use Gems to refresh energy.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Helicath Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 3: Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Spider Tournament:  Lamibur Champion (Obtained at X Points)

Ah yes, the favorite combo of dungeon-based events and dungeon-specific tournament to end the fusion event. This is a treat for players as they can simply farm the Spider’s Dungeon to get points for both the event and tournament. We recommend players to farm Stage 20 of the Spiders dungeon for a minimum of 140 times.

Fusing Helicath

After collecting all the 16 Rare champions from the event and tournament, players will further need to level them to Level 40 and promote them to 4-Stars and have them at 4th Ascended. All this to get 4 copies of the new Epic champion Kinagashi which further will need to be at Level 40, 5-Star Promoted, and have their 5th Ascension unlocked. For all of these feats, the players will need the following potions and chickens:

    • Lesser Affinity Potions: 160 Spirit
    • Greater Affinity Potions: 144 Spirit
    • Superior Affinity Potions: 24 Spirit
    • 80 Lesser Arcane Potions
  • 108 Greater Arcane Potions
  • 12 Superior Arcane Potions
  • 48 x 3-Star Chickens
  • 16 x 4-Star Chickens

For leveling champions, we recommend farming 12-3 brutal stage repeatedly or using your brews to level them.
