Rebel Skies Tips and Tricks: Best Ways to Increase Power
Rebel Skies is a tactical strategy RPG that immerses players in a world of high-stakes airship battles. Set in a sky-bound universe, players take command of powerful fleets, each led by skilled heroes and populated by unique crew members. Combining strategy and real-time combat, Rebel Skies challenges players to manage resources, upgrade cards, and deploy varied tactical formations to face formidable enemies in PvE campaigns and PvP battles. In this article, we will be sharing some personalized tips and tricks to help new players get more power in a shorter period of time. Let’s begin!
Tip #1. Complete the Daily Quests
If you’re a free-to-play player, perhaps your biggest gripe would be lack of resources required to summon more chests, and get more cards. You also need to have a lot of coins on your hand as you will be enhancing and ascending multiple units in your deck. Naturally, you might be looking for more avenues of resources. Look no further than the daily quests, a precise set of missions that reward you generously every single day. These quests are active for 24 hours, and change when the day changes. Players can get multiple types of rewards such as coins, crystals, account experience, and more by completing these quests.
Tip #2. Summon more Chests!
Since Rebel Skies is a strategy game, you might think that all you need are wits and tactical decisions to win battles but you are wrong. Your units and their power play an equal or even greater role in deciding who will be the victor. To enhance your heroes, you will need multiple copies of their cards. To use new heroes, you will need to firstly acquire their cards via the innate recruit system. For those unaware, unit cards come in different rarities and factions. It’s pure luck as to what type of cards you will get from the chests. The game does offer players some guaranteed rewards via a pity system.
Tip #3. Collect Idle Rewards for Maximum Growth!
Rebel Skies offers players a set of idle rewards that recharge over time without you even needing to play the game. These rewards are part of a larger genre of games called “Idle/AFK” games, and are suitable for casual players who do not want to waste time grinding resources for hours in-game. Your idle rewards in Rebel Skies are denoted by a pile of silver next to the campaign mode. Players can get more idle rewards if they are well progressed in the campaign mode. A higher standard of rewards can be acquired if you advance to the farthest story chapter of the campaign mode. Keep in mind, these idle rewards only store up to 12 hours maximum.
Tip #4. Upgrade your Units
Once you have access to more playable unit cards, all you need to do is empower them next to enhance their base stats and increase their level. Players can enhance their cards by 2 ways – first by simply levelling them up to see an increase in their base stats, and second by feeding them duplicate cards and promoting them in the process. You will get lots of duplicate cards, at least of lower rarity units. Ensure you are combining them by going to the “Upgrade” section. If you feel that the card is not at all useful or fully maxed out, you can even choose to scrap the card for extra faction dust.
Tip #5. Rank Up in Multiplayer Modes
Crystals continue to be one of the harder to acquire currency in the game. They are the premium currency that are used extensively to summon more cards by opening chests. One of the more consistent ways to get your hands on more crystals remains to be progressing the rankings in the multiplayer mode. Not only do you also get tons of experience bonuses stack for every match you play but also get tons of crystals if you manage to win. Be careful though as you will be facing real players in this game mode and they won’t be falling for stupid tricks!
Players can enjoy Rebel Skies even more on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop, complete with your keyboard and mouse via BlueStacks!
