How to Play Shadow Fight 3 on PC with BlueStacks
The latest installment in its series, Shadow Fight 3 is a 3D mobile fighting game that looks and feels absolutely stunning. Combat is, of course, its main focus, but what we love about it is that it seamlessly blends the fighting genre with elements of RPG. In essence, you build your character from scratch as you find out more about the world he or she inhabits.
The more you grow, the worse your enemies become, which challenges you to grow even more. Now, although Shadow Fight 3 is an F2P game, players who are willing to invest real money into legendary weapons and gear will have a straight-up advantage. However…
We have some good news; an Ace up your sleeve if you will. That’s right: we’re talking about BlueStacks. In what follows, we’ll show you how playing Shadow Fight 3 on your PC with BlueStacks can significantly improve your performance in combat. By the time you’re done here, you won’t want to go back to your smartphone!
Amazing 3D Combat with Just Enough Storytelling
If you’re new to the Shadow Fight series, you’ll need a bit of context before you can dive into the game world. In this universe, Shadow Energy is a formidable, but dangerous essence. Those who possess it (or, rather, who are possessed by it) gain extraordinary powers in combat, but the question is: to what end? There are no guarantees that fighters who are enhanced by Shadow Energy will use this prowess for good, especially since the Shadow itself appears to have other plans.
In Shadow Fight 3, the Legion, the Dynasty, and the Heralds are three legions at each other’s throats. The reason behind their animosity for one another is that each believes Shadow Energy should be dealt with in different ways. The Dynasty, for example, wants to use Shadow Energy to unlock the full potential of fighters, while the Legion wants to put an end to it altogether.
As a member of the Legion, you are part of a special squad of fighters that is trained to actually use Shadow Energy. Once you learn how to move in combat, the game throws you into an immense world full of bad guys that you have to defeat one by one. Some of them are difficult, while others are just outrageous! Before you become irreparably frustrated, though, you need to try the game on your PC and experience the difference.
Take the Game to a New Level with BlueStacks
Shadow Fight 3 looks much better than its predecessor, with 2.5D environments and full 3D character models that interact in unique ways during combat. However, the downside for this considerable visual upgrade is that the game eats up a lot more resources in order to run smoothly. In fact, you won’t be able to play it at all on some phones because the lag will make it simply impossible to control your character properly.
Play Shadow Fight 3 on PC
This is the first big plus of taking your combat to the PC. BlueStacks is an emulator that performs better than most smartphones currently on the market, so you don’t have to worry about the game stuttering again so long as your PC has the right configuration. You also don’t have to sacrifice graphics for performance. Instead, you can enjoy the beautiful art of the game and have it run smoothly at the same time. Surely, this is how the devs would want you to play it.
Always Stay in Control of Your Character
The best part about Shadow Fight 3 is that combat is simple to get into, but difficult to master. We talk about this at length in our guide to combat, but for now, let’s just say that this is the main reason why you should play the game on your PC with BlueStacks. Performance aside, the emulator gives you the possibility to control your character using your mouse and keyboard, which are far more precise than what you can achieve on a smartphone.
Sure, the devs did a great job positioning important buttons in SF3 so that your thumbs don’t take up most of the screen, but what about activating combos and retaliating to your enemies? Being able to press the right buttons in quick succession can give you an immense advantage in this game and BlueStacks allows you to do just that.
Using the BlueStacks Game Controls feature, you can assign a key or click to any button on the screen. For instance, we’re using the D-Pad to move with A, W, S, D, rather than by pressing buttons on the screen. Even if you’re pretty nimble with your thumbs, you still can’t switch from moving forward to going backwards as quickly as you would with a keyboard.
Similarly, we’ve assigned a key to each ability so that we can control exactly what our character does and when. Combat can get extremely clutch in Shadow Fight 3, so you’ll never be able to defeat a tough opponent if you don’t time your abilities just right. Once you get used to your BlueStacks controls, though, you never have to worry about mis-clicking or not being able to move your thumb fast enough ever again. This gives you a massive advantage compared to players who use their smartphones.
Show Off Your Best Moves with BlueStacks
Now that you have BlueStacks in your corner, close to nothing is stopping you from defeating the worst opponents in Shadow Fight 3. You might still have a hard time in PvP, since many of the players choose to purchase legendary gear with real money, but having better control of your character’s movement and abilities will at least give you a fighting chance.
If you go on a rampage and manage to own every single one of your opponents from here on out, you can bet that other players will want to learn your secret. With BlueStacks, there’s nothing simpler than recording your gameplay and sharing it with others. Got an interesting tactic for PvP? Put it on YouTube! Recently defeated a boss that was giving you trouble? Share the moment with your friends! All you have to do is press the record button on the BlueStacks frame and you’re ready to go.
