Misty Forest Map Introduction
The Misty Forest does not welcome ordinary visitors and remains cloaked in mist all year. Travelers who accidentally enter the forest will fall into a coma accompanied by soft singing. When they wake up, however, they will be outside the forest. You will find Elves following their traditional culture and customs deep within this area.
They enjoy excellent handcrafted silverware, and jade from the East will be fashioned into jewelry and ornaments. They like music and dancing and pay close attention to numerous rites and celebrations. For example, at the spring and fall equinoxes, people organize special ceremonies to thank nature for her gifts.
Tree of Luen
The Tree of Luen is one of the main attractions and highlights of the Misty Forest. It functions as a deity that the elves worship and is considered sacred. The tree has been connected with nature, much like the Elves, going back over millennia in time. Nature and balance serve as the source of life for Elves. Many rumors also suggest that Elves were not the original species of Tarisland. In fact, many believe them to be celestial beings that connected with nature and decided to settle on this land. For a long time, the elves obeyed the gods’ commands and never left the forest.
Tree of Luen means “the tree that binds the world” in the Elvish language. It’s massive and gigantic, towering way above any other tree in the vicinity. The Tree of Luen is considered to be thousands of years old, serving as the primary place for the Elves to stay and nurture themselves. Just 300 years ago, a meteorite fell from the sky and landed right on top of the Tree of Luen. This tragedy destroyed the mysterious power lurking within it. Sadly, you can still find some chunks of the meteorite stuck on the bark of tree. The trunk of the tree faintly radiates its light to this day.
Every few decades, the elves have their largest celebration, Emare’ssenya, which means “the gift of rain, dew, and starlight.” This is a life celebration focused on the Tree of Lune and presided over by the Elf Queen.
Lurking Horror
The Misty Forest is designated a risky place due to the occurrence of crime-related activities and more. Harboring a peaceful disguise, the forest has become quite dangerous. Merfolks, a species that dwells on dense trees and thick mist, have become powerful and intelligent. The forest has become prone to attacks by merfolks on travelers.
As the mist cleared, numerous explorers attempted to revisit the woodland, but none survived. Unknown evil lurks deep in the forest, patiently awaiting the arrival of additional tourists…
It is highly recommended that you play Tarisland on a bigger screen of your PC with BlueStacks without worrying about battery drainage and smooth gameplay.
