West Survival:Pioneers Beginners Guide and Tips

Battles happen in 2 different genres – real-time turn-based battles, and tower-defense battles. The former happens when you explore dungeons or challenge the expedition bosses, while the latter take place in case of invasions. In the former case, players get to choose a formation of up to 5 distinct heroes that they can take into battle. Each hero possesses unique active and passive abilities that they will use automatically in battles.

Ensure to organize your formations strategically with the tank being in the frontline, the DPS in the backline, and the supports in the middle. Each hero has a different role in the team, with some being tanks that can absorb damage, and some being DPS/Attackers that excel at dealing damage. Supports also come in the mix to help with healing allies and debuffing enemies.

West Survival:Pioneers Beginners Guide and Tips

There are multiple types of quests that you can undertake and reap resources by completing them. Majority of them are quite simple to complete and require basic understanding of the game such as chopping wood, removing weeds, and cutting up stone. These tasks hardly take a few seconds to complete and after sometime, you even get the ability to skip them. Do not falter on these quests or you may regret losing access to free resources in the future. The battle mechanics are fairly easy to learn and master since the majority of the battles take place automatically and do not require manual intervention.
