Gameplay Footage Leaked for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade
In the 2022 Ubisoft Showcase, Ubisoft unveiled several upcoming Assassin’s Creed titles. One of the upcoming games is Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, announced exclusively for mobile devices. The first and actual gameplay footage for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, according to recent leaks.
From the two-minute video clip shared by Tiger White, a Facebook user on Assassin’s Creed Syncposting group, it is evident that AC Codename Jade will most likely look similar to its PC and Console counterparts. The parkour, movement, and gameplay features are identical alongside the icons. It would be pretty simple for players to relate if they have played any of the recent Assassin’s Creed RPG games, such as Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla.
The Chinese origin is not something new players will witness in the Assassin’s Creed franchise for the first time. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles was based on a similar storyline, and similarly, Jade will be based on a story related to China, this time on the quests of Mohists. Dangling Bai, a Mohist Juzi, is a playable character in the leaked gameplay clip, charged with defending his village against an attack. In the two minutes of gameplay footage, he encounters Wei Yu, a well-known character from the Assassin’s Creed series.
Previously, in February 2021, Assassin’s Creed fans were teased that Ubisoft had been working with Tencent, and it is confirmed now after the gameplay footage of AC Codenamed Jade. Tencent is handling the game’s development, so fans can be sure that the final product will be of the highest calibre since the company has a solid track record of creating mobile games that set the standard for the industry.
We are yet to get an update on the launch date of AC Codenamed Jade; therefore players must wait for further updates from the developers.
