#1. One Piece: Chopper’s Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals (2002)
Official Title: One Piece: Chinjou Shima no chopper koku
Duration: 56 minutes
Rating: 6.3/6.9
Filler or Important: Filler
This is the 3rd movie under the One Piece banner. The Straw Hat Pirates travel to Crown Island, a lush wilderness home to animals with human-like minds, after hearing tales of a magnificent treasure. Due to unfortunate events, Tony Tony Chopper becomes isolated from his fellow crew members and unintentionally carries out a prophecy announcing the arrival of the King of Beasts, the island’s ruler and guardian.
Chopper, who is now admired by everyone on the island—especially a youngster who despises pirates by the name of Mobambi—finds himself divided between his new “kingdom” and his position with the Straw Hats. This movie can be fully avoided as it includes a ton of fillers that are not canon.
#2. One Piece 3D: Straw Hat Chase (2011)
Official Title: One Piece 3D: Mugiwara cheisu
Duration: 30 minutes
Rating: 6.6/7
Filler or Important: Filler
When Luffy wakes up and discovers that his essential straw hat is missing, the entire Straw Hat crew sets out to find it. Meanwhile, Usopp and Chopper discovered an ill pirate while investigating a seemingly deserted ship, and they made the decision to nurse him back aboard the Thousand Sunny. The crew started pursuing after seeing a bird clinging to Luffy’s cap, but they had to get past unanticipated Marines and Sea Kings among other challenges.
#3. One Piece: The Cursed Holy Sword (2004)
Official Title: One piece: Norowareta seiken
Duration: 1 hour 35 minutes
Rating: 6.6/7.1
Filler or Important: Filler
The Shichiseiken, thought to be the most exquisite blade in the world and a priceless find, is revealed to the Straw Hat Pirates on Asuka Island, but it also carries a fatal curse. Zoro, who was supposed to serve as a guard, is not to be found when they return to the ship, but they are compelled to go when they come under attack by Marines.
When they disembark in a different part of the island, they find a community whose responsibility it is to maintain the Seven Stars Sword’s seal. Soon after, Zoro and other Marines who are attempting to release the sword attack it! What possible motivation could Zoro have doing this? What’s the sword’s secret? How come Marines would want it? The solutions are found in the night of the red moon.
#4. One Piece: The Movie (2000)
Official Title: Kaisokuou ni ore wa naru
Duration: 51 minutes
Rating: 6.6/7.1
Filler or Important: Filler
The Straw Hat Pirates are at conflict with Eldoraggo, a vicious pirate who is driven by a terrible Devil Fruit and has an unnatural obsession with money, after they happen to run across three thieves by accident. Eldoraggo’s ultimate objective was an island steeped in myth, where the fabled Captain Woonan was rumored to have amassed unimaginably large gold reserves.
The Straw Hats must defeat Eldoraggo and his gang in order to find the location of Woonan’s greatest treasure for themselves, with the assistance of an elderly seller and his grandson—possibly the last surviving ties to Woonan.
#5. One Piece – Episode of Arabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates (2009)

The Straw Hat Pirates set out for Arabasta, Nefertari Vivi’s desert island stronghold. They discover that a revolution is underway throughout the nation. The leader of the Kingdom of Sand, Cobra, is Vivi’s father. Crocodile, the country’s hero, utilized his criminal organization Baroque Works to subvert public confidence in Cobra in order to take control of the kingdom and its well-kept secret.
Now, the crew must cross the desert, put an end to the revolution, protect thousands of people from concealed bombers of Baroque Works, and—above all—defeat Crocodile, one of the powerful Seven Warlords of the Sea.
#6. One Piece: The Giant Mechanical Soldier of Karakuri Castle (2006)
Official Title: One Piece: Karakuri Shiro no Mecha Kyohei
Duration: 1 hour 34 minutes
Rating: 6.5/7. 2
Filler or Important: Important
The Straw Hat Pirates are eager to open the treasure chest they retrieved from a sinking ship and discover what wealth lies within. They took out an elderly woman rather than a treasure. The elderly woman, eager to return home (and spare herself Nami’s wrath for having earlier thrown out the riches in the chest), offers a substantial treasure reward to the crew in exchange for their helping her return to her house on Mecha Island.
Her Golden Crown fable seems too good to be true. There’s no other option for the group; Luffy senses adventure. To unlock the mystery of Mecha Island and its wealth, the crew will put their puzzle-solving abilities to the test on an island full of incredible inventions—as well as Luffy’s innate sense of intuition.

Filler or Important: Important
Although the anime and this movie both conveyed the same plot, the Arabasta movie is distinct. You must be asking yourself why. The solution is really straightforward. With many of the events altered, this arc functions more as a rehash of the Drum Island arc. For instance, Wapol, the antagonist, has a sibling in the film, and Robin and Franky, who weren’t originally with the Straw Hats, are present. Further, this is the second time viewers get to see Chopper post the 3rd film.

#9. One Piece: Dead End Adventure (2003)
Official Title: One Piece: Dead End no bôken
Duration: 1 hour 35 minutes
Rating: 7.2/7.5
Filler or Important: Important
The Straw Hat Pirates, who are in dire need of money, enter the Dead End Competition, a clandestine competition between pirate groups. Roger.
Following Nami’s kidnapping due to her innate ability to navigate, Shiki sends Luffy and his group hurtling down to his own floating islands. The group, now split up, must fight to survive against horrible creatures in enigmatic surroundings.
