A South African game studio named Talent Digital Artist has just announced their upcoming fighting game, Super Dragon Punch Force 3. According to the game’s X (formerly Twitter) account, the game is expected to come to PC, iOS, and Android platforms in Q2 2024. In other words, the game may release around April to June 2024. Players can sign up now on the game’s website to receive the latest news and updates about the game as well as learn about exclusive rewards for early supporters.

The game is inspired by the 2023 movie Boy Kill World, an action-thriller film directed by first-time director Moritz Mohr. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Boy Kill World is “a dystopian fever dream action film that follows Boy, a deaf mute with a vibrant imagination. When his family is murdered, he is trained by a mysterious shaman to repress his childish imagination and become an instrument of death.” The film stars Bill Skarsgård who plays the role of Boy.

Super Dragon Punch Force 3 Comes to Mobile and PC in Q2 2024

Boy Kill World features exhilarating action sequences which were apparently based on video game depictions of martial arts. But what’s even more interesting is that apparently Super Dragon Punch Force 3 is connected to the Boy Kill World universe. This is because one scene in the film showcases a fictional Super Dragon Punch Force II arcade game. So essentially, Super Dragon Punch Force 3 is both the real-life implementation and the sequel to the arcade game featured in the movie. This pretty much explains why you can’t find Super Dragon Punch Force 2 in any game store right now, let alone Super Dragon Punch 1.

Boy Kill World was premiered in the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) which was held last September 9, 2023. Movie goers who went to the premiere were greeted with a QR code which pointed to Super Dragon Punch Force 3. Registrants will receive both the latest updates about the game and even a unique skin which can be redeemed when the game launches.

Super Dragon Punch Force 3 will take place in Zed’s Comics, where the player will fight in fast-paced and high-energy matches. Many of the game’s elements are influenced by contemporary comic books and manga and overall pays homage to nostalgic arcade gaming. The game will offer both single-player and multiplayer modes.
