The Season 3 update is a massive one! New characters, new limited-time game modes, and a concrete set of events are scheduled to take place. Players can install and play Black Clover M as a free-to-play title on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
Clover Academy will see a bustling set of new characters, ready to shape a new and diverse meta with their uniquely crafted abilities. Test out your luck and summon them in fresh recruitment banners. A slew of resources can be redeemed by participating in engaging events that reward your perils and merit over any other aspect. Most importantly, the developers are aware of the stale Arena meta and have made some exciting changes to spice up the game mode. Season 3 update can be seen live in-game on 18th January 2024. Let’s check out all the new stuff that will be added with the update.
Black Clover M: Season 3 Summoning Banners Introduce 3 New Characters
Global players, get ready! The dreamy trio of Jack the Ripper, Charlotte, and Fuegoleon Vermillion are prepared to drop with the Season 3 update. As confirmed earlier via a thrilling trailer, the 3 new characters will be available for recruitment for a short period. While the new characters have promising skill sets, it will be interesting to see how they perform in the current meta!
Charlotte remains to be the #1 target among the new characters. Her ability Rapid Thorns applies a Counterattack buff to the ally with the highest Attack, adding to extending their DPS potential. She can even buff allies’ Attacks for 2 turns with her 2nd ability, Preview and Review. Lastly, her 3rd active ability, Instructor’s Skills, gives all allies a Counterattack buff for 1 turn. Her utility in Arena and future RTA game mode seems to be unmatched by current Supports.
Fuegoleon Vermillion synergizes greatly with his alternate versions that can apply Continuous damage debuffs. Charging onto the battlefield, this fiery tyrant can inflict a 30% Increased Damage dealt debuff on enemies with his 1st skill, Ray of Extinction. To add fuel to the fire, his 2nd ability, Onslaught of the Flame Lion, inflicts Burn debuffs on a single enemy. Fuegoleon’s ultimate ability, Leo Rugiens, lets him slam dunk on a single target, inflicting 40% more damage to them if they are already taking continuous damage.
Jack the Ripper comes as a bleeding menace on the battlefields of Clover Kingdom! His basic attack, Blade Attack, has a 60% chance of inflicting Bleed debuffs on a single target, making them lose health each turn. Jack’s 2nd ability, Enhanced Physical Ability, provides him with Increased PEN for 2 turn(s) and increased CRIT Rate for 1 turn (s). He also has a 60% chance of getting an Increased SPF for 2 turn(s). Jack the Ripper’s unique ability, Death Scythe, rips through enemies, having an 80% chance to inflict Bleed debuff for 2 turns. This skill also grants Jack a 10% increased crit damage per buff applied to himself.
