Blue Archive March 2024 Update: New 3-Star Characters, Event Story, and more
Blue Archive has proven to be one of the best 3D Idle RPGs that boasts cute chibi characters and a thematic school-like environment where you are the coach. In the latest update for Blue Archive, the developers have emphasized on the importance of releasing new characters as well as ensuring the old one’s are available to all. Players will see a lot of new recruitment banners to summon on. Alongside, you can experience a thematic side story event titled as “Business Trip! Momoyodou Beach Shack Franchise Plan”. Blue Archive: New Character Mimori (Swimsuit)
Mimori (Swimsuit) is a 3-Star character that is classified as a Support in-game. She is slated to be used in the backline. Her introduction reads as follows – “The vice president of the Inner Discipline Club has changed into a swimsuit for the summer. She’s known for her gentle smile and kind demeanor, but dressing in swimwear has her a little more excited than usual.”

Normal Skill – Every 50s, grants a Barrier with HP equal to 105% of Healing to the ally with the lowest HP lasting up to 35s.
Sub Skill – Increases all allies’ ATK SPD by 9.1%.
EX Skill – Deploys cover with HP equal to a set amount plus 49.5% of Mimori’s Max HP. Creates a circular zone around the cover in which allies’
ATK SPD is increased by 16.6% for 20s.
Passive Skill – Increases Max HP by 14%.
Blue Archive: New Character Meru
Meru is a 3-Star character that is classified as a Striker in-game. She is slated to be used in the midline section. Her introduction reads as follows – “A member of the Knowledge Liberation Front, a book club at the Red Winter Academy. Unlike her club mate Momiji, she doesn’t just read fan books—she creates them. Writing under the name “Meruri,” she draws inspiration from the drama between her fellow students. Even the feud between the Trinity and Gehenna student bodies have made it into her pages, generating some notoriety outside of the Red Winter Academy.”

Normal Skill – Deals 100% damage to one enemy.
Sub Skill – Every 3rd normal attack will use enhanced ammunition, dealing 139% damage.
Basic Skill – Every 50s, deals 71.4% damage to one enemy and inflicts Burn, continuously dealing 47.9% damage every 4s for 30s.
EX Skill – Deals 91.1% damage to one enemy and inflicts Burn, continuously dealing 173% damage every 4s for 30s, and Weakness Detection for 30s. Each time an ally attacks the enemy inflicted with Weakness Detection, deals additional damage equal to 1.3% of Meru’s ATK. (This additional damage cannot critically hit and can trigger up to a maximum of 480 times).
Passive Skill – Increases ATK by 14%.
Event Story: Business Trip! Momoyodou Beach Shack Franchise Plan
The returning side story event is live! The event description reads as follows – “Members of Momoyodou visit the summer beach for a new business venture. However, they realize they got scammed in an insidious scheme! Shizuko declares that she will not go down like this and a new Momoyodou battle begins!” To travel on this business trip, players will need to complete Mission 2-3 (Normal)! Franchise Plan for Momoyodou Beach Shack event.
The episodes of the story event will be locked according to progress in the Conquest challenge mode. Conquest is a zonal game mode, where you need to set up and occupy bases in the area. You need to defeat multiple waves of enemies in each base to occupy it. Once occupied, you can assign your own units on it to receive passive resources.
Operate a Base to get Artifacts and Equipment Blueprints in addition to event currencies. There are also multiple tasks to complete in order to earn Pyroxenes and Credit Points. After the event reward /exchange period ends, any unused event currency is converted 1:1 to Credit Points and delivered to your mailbox.
