CookieRun: Kingdom Version 6.4 Update Guide – Fire Spirit Cookie, New Mines Content, and More

The heat is on in CookieRun: Kingdom Version 6.4, “The Flame Awakens.” This latest update brings big changes to the pastry-themed RPG, including two powerful Cookies, a brand-new underground system with exciting rewards, and permanent upgrades that shake up how you build your team. Whether you’re chasing rare loot, testing your skills in limited-time modes, or diving deeper into team customization, there’s something here for every type of player.
Fire Spirit Cookie makes a fiery entrance, alongside Agar Agar Cookie, who copies powerful Legendary skills. On top of that, players can explore the newly restored Mines packed with Ore Veins, Battle Cards, and fossils. And let’s not forget the Arcade Arena’s return, an upgraded Toppings system, and some fun mini-events. Let’s break it all down.
New Cookies: Fire Spirit Cookie and Agar Agar Cookie
Fire Spirit Cookie is a Legendary Magic-type powerhouse with a skill that literally scorches the battlefield. He deals damage over time and sets off a devastating Flame Explosion. He’s not just strong—he’s persistent. When defeated, he revives with “Unquenchable Flames” and can summon Flame Hydras if allies fall. His strength also scales up if you pair him with other Fire-type Cookies.
Agar Agar Cookie is a creative Epic Ambush-type that adapts to your team. If she fights alongside Legendary Guardians like Sea Fairy Cookie or Stormbringer Cookie, she mimics their skills. If she’s flying solo, she randomly picks one. This flexible skill set, along with buffs for allies and debuffs for enemies, makes her a wild card in any team comp.
We still don’t know how these new cookies will shape up when compared to the best cookies in the game, but we’re still excited to see what they can do!
Permanent Features: Toppings and Tarts Upgraded
Two major additions expand how you build and strengthen your Cookies:
- Flaming Toppings: Only select Cookies, like Fire Spirit and Agar Agar, can equip these. They add another layer of depth for min-maxing your team.
- Topping Tarts: These new items boost Topping set bonuses and come in Common, Rare, and Epic varieties. For instance, the Epic Apple Jelly Tart can increase ATK by over 11%. Each Cookie can equip one, and they work alongside the updated set system that now gives bonuses at 2, 3, and 5 Toppings.
This shift in how Toppings work encourages smarter setups and more variety in battle strategies.
Descend Into the Mines: A New Adventure Begins
Once you reach Cookie Castle Level 6 and complete the “Restore the Mines” quest, a whole new feature unlocks: The Mines. This underground maze is filled with resources, dangers, and strategy-focused mechanics.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Travel using a Mine Cart and pick up Battle Cards, Fossils, and Ore Veins.
- Use tools like Hearty Lunch (restores HP) and Rapid Action Engine Oil (speeds things up) to survive the deeper levels.
- Beware: As you go deeper, your Cookies lose HP and become less effective.
You’ll also face Mine Battles, which reward Agar Cubes. These cubes are melted in furnaces to unlock more rewards. You can Appraise Fossils for rare items and even craft Topping Tarts in the new Mine Workshop.
Arcade Arena Returns: Four Rotating Battle Modes
The popular Arcade Arena is back with four different event windows. Each mode has its own twist, testing different team-building strategies:
- 5v5 Elemental Arena (April 9–16): Use only elemental Cookies.
- 5v5 Battle of the Epics (April 16–23): Only Epic and Super Epic Cookies allowed.
- 7v7 Kingdom Clash (April 23–30): Mix and match all rarities.
- 7v7 Treasure Showdown (April 30–May 7): Cookies and up to five Treasures are in play.
Rank up from Chocolate to the new Elite tier and earn unique Seasonal Treasures that shake up each round.
Town Square Chaos: Cake Hound Round-Up Minigame
During scheduled sessions, you can try out Cake Hound Round-Up, a lighthearted minigame where you swing a Candy Cane to herd Cake Hounds:
- Regular ones combine into Whole Cakes for bonus points.
- Special ones have unique effects and are trickier to catch.
Earn Town Square Coins and, if you collect enough, unlock a Friendly Cake Hound companion that follows you around the map. It’s a fun, albeit minor, addition.
Special Events: Agar Slime Crisis and Cherry Blossom Picnic
In Agar Slime Crisis, deal as much damage as you can to a massive, shifting boss whose weaknesses depend on your team. Ranking high in this event earns you exclusive seasonal rewards.
Then there’s Cherry Blossom Picnic, a more relaxed board-style event. Move around a picnic-themed board by rolling the dice and gather items. After 100 rolls, you’ll unlock Cherry Blossom Cookie’s new Picnic Season Costume. You can also use special Cherry Picnic Dice to pick your rolls strategically.
CookieRun: Kingdom Version 6.4 brings plenty of new ways to play, from serious team upgrades to quirky side events. Whether you’re into strategy-heavy battles, resource grinding, or just want to see what the Mines are hiding, this update is packed with reasons to keep logging in.
