Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 Release Date

As per the rumors, you won’t have to wait long for Version 3.1:

• The release date for North American servers is February 25, 2025.
• The release date for Asia and EU servers is February 26, 2025.

3.1 Version New Characters

Well, how can we enjoy the new version without new characters? Version 3.1 will introduce you to these two new powerful characters; let’s jump in to find out who they are.

Phase 1: Tribbie

In the first phase, you’ll get Tribbie, who is a five-star Quantum character. She’s from the Path of Harmony. According to the leaks, she is an ultimate support character with formidable stats. Her skill gives Luminosity three times, which will increase the Resistance Penetration of all her allies. Her signature Light cone solidifies her role as an excellent support type. 

Tribbie possesses great talent as a follow-up attacker, and she can deal extra quantum damage to the enemies after one of the allies uses their Ultimate. Most of Tribbie’s abilities scale with HP, making her quite easy to build. Her Ascension materials can be gathered in the current version before her release. Thus, if you are looking for a buffer that can be placed in any team, Tribbie should be your go-to character.

Phase 2: Mydei

Well, if the previous one was for our support-type players, and this one is for you all who love to play on the offensive. Mydei is a five-star Imaginary character on the destruction path. He is the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos. Like Tribbie, his kit scales with HP too. He will be highlighted on the banner during phase 2. 

Mydei’s core ability will replenish your HP, and frankly, we could all use a bit of an HP boost during battle. But Mydei deals serious damage at the cost of losing HP too, but it’s worth it because the DMG increases significantly and his ‘Vendetta’ state can recover some of his HP as well. His destruction abilities are based on his CRIT stats, and hence, he will perform best when paired with CRIT-scaling harmony units. His upgrade materials can be easily gathered during Phase 1 of the update.

Quality of life update

Have you disassembled a relic or a light cone by accident? Then this QOL update is for you! While most 4-star and 5-star relics and light cones are automatically locked, sometimes these are deleted if your account is used by someone else. The new version will help you out with this by facilitating customer service support for these accidental mishaps. 

4-star characters

According to the leaks, along with the 5-star characters, you’ll get a few 4-star characters as well. These characters are:

Asta

Asta serves as a support character, enhancing her team’s performance with a very little investment. Through her Ultimate, she increases the speed of all her allies by 52 at max level.

Qingque

A quantum DPS who uses matching tiles to maximize her damage potential. Her play style is luck-based, as her attack involves requiring four stacks of the same Jade tiles to do her enhanced basic attack 1 time. 

Serval 

Serval has received recent buffs to her position. Her element is lightning, providing consistent damage each turn, which builds every turn. Her main attack involves lightning the enemies.

Pela

A four star character affiliated to Ice, serves as an intelligence officer for Silvermane Guards. Pela excels as a debuffer, reducing the enemy defences and as well as removing their buffs, thus weakening the enemies. 

New Planar Ornaments

There are 2 new Planar Ornaments coming out in version 3.1 as well, which are specifically designed for our new five stars, Tribbie and Mydei. These new Ornaments.

Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding

If you quip it on your character, their CRIT rate will be increased by 8%. Also, if your character already has a good CRIT rate, like 70% or higher than that, then this ornament will increase their DMG by 30% as well.

• Planar Sphere – Grove of Epiphany’s Pondering Colossus

Bone collection’s serene Demesne

This one is a boon for our boy Mydei as wearing it will increase Max HP by 12%. Also, if your character already has a good HP then this ornament will increase their CRIT rate by 25% as well. You can acquire the Bone collection’s serene Demense by challenging the “Divergent Universe: Unceasing Strife” and using the Trailblazer powers or Immensifiers to obtain the Planar Ornaments.
