One of the newest heroes being released with the new update is none other than Light elemental version of Al Rashad. Being teased in this month’s Avillon times, players in the community expected this fully well. A new feature called as Avillon Income Statements are also being added that will replace the existing Cannae’s gifts system to make it more streamlined and rewarding for players. Apart from the new features, some of our favourite existing heroes are also getting balanced further to make them more inclusive in the current meta of the game. A slew of new Avillon events are also planned for the month of January 2023. The new update is set to be quite content heavy that will keep the players entertained for a long time. Let’s check out all the new things coming to Lord of Heroes with the 26th January 2023 update.
Light Rashid – New 4-Star Hero
Light Rashid, the light elemental version of the hero Rashid is coming to Lord of Heroes as the latest addition to the ever-growing roster of heroes. Dark Mei Ling is a great hero as she provides a ton of healing to allies in addition to buffing their base attributes. Light Rashid is a 4-Star hero that is classified as a Sniper in-game. Players can recruit Light Rashid after the patch goes live through his own special in-game purchasable package.
Light Rashid’s hero description reads “One can summarize a large part of Rashad’s life in just a few lines. He has lived what people consider the picture-perfect life of a genius. Despite not having the gift of the gab, his talent alone was unrivaled. In other words, he was the perfect tool for the Gallus Empire’s high-ranking personnel. After all, he was a second-to-none cog in the wheel. He had not a single ounce of interest in neither politics nor diplomacy, and followed orders to a tee without question. Sometimes he would malfunction and come up with weird ideas—and the empire made a deadly mistake by overlooking this quirk that Rashad had.
Despite being the Minister of the Ministry of Arcane Engineering, in reality, he was the most ostracized person there. He had strange peculiarities and would say things that no one else could even attempt to understand. At times, he would also stay up all night for multiple nights in a row at the lab. No one ever thought strange of him. But one night, after the last scientist in the lab headed home for the day, Rashad quietly headed to the central control room. He then enacted his plans just as he prepared. He first disabled the central security system and then unlocked access to all the barriers and gates of the inner sanctums of the laboratory.”

Summoning Banner Re-Run – Astrum Aurorae
Featured summons is the only way to summon heroes. With this new update, a previously released hero will be making a comeback with her own featured summoning banner. The featured summon banner is titled “Astrum Aurorae”. Players will be able to recruit Light Syphfride only through this featured summoning banner. Players can make summons on the Astrum Aurorae banner using either linkstones or Featured Summon Tickets. Keep in mind that the pity on the previously featured banner “Eternal Outsider” is carried over to this new featured banner.
Hence, they both will have separate pity counters. The banner will be launched on 1st February 2023 after the maintenance has ended and ends on 1st April, 2023. Here are the following heroes and artifacts available in the banner:
- Summonable Heroes: Light Syphfride, Earth Ondal, Dark Brandon, Water Dragon Knight Helga

Avillon Income Statements
Avillon Income Statement is a brand-new feature coming to the turn-based RPG. Using this new feature, players will be able to stack up their rewards and collect them in one go when they are filled up. Like a true lord in action, consider these loots as a form of tax collected from your citizens. Keep a track your income generated by kingdom activities and earn accumulated rewards. This feature will replace the existing “Cannae Gifts” feature that is located in the main menu of the game.
Players can access their Kingdoms Income Statement through a tab of the same name in the main menu where the Cannae’s Gift were earlier present. Simply tap on the Income Statement to view all the accumulated rewards so far. These rewards can be considered as AFK resources as their intensity and nature will greatly increase the more time has passed. The rewards will be full after 24 hours, after which they will not accumulate any more. The menu will have 2 options – “Time Skip” or “Collect All”. Collect all will just provide you with all the resources accumulated so far in the Income Statement. Players can also make use of the Time Skip option to get more resources but by paying a price in the sum of Crystals. Players will need to pay 20 Crystals to time skip 2 hours’ worth of resources and they can do this up to 5 times per day.
Balance Changes January 2023
A host of new balance adjustments are set in motion to start the new year 2023! Heroes in Lord of Heroes have always been the main target of discussion as the game has little to no changes to them in recent years. Balance patches are quite non-existent in Lord of Heroes but when they are implemented, they sure come in handy as a lot of new heroes released over the years have pushed the usage and significance of old heroes backward. This is also called “power creep” and it naturally happens when stronger heroes are released to keep the meta of the game interesting and innovative. Here are the heroes and the changes being made to them with this update:
Dark Dhurahan
Phoenix Rush (1st Skill) – Attacks the selected enemy. 75% chance to inflict petrification for 1 turn(s) if the attack is a critical hit. Additionally, the damage increases by 100% if the target is petrified.
Groundsplitter (Burst Skill) – Attacks the selected enemy. Ignores defense. Additionally, the damage increases by 300% if the target is petrified.
Staying true to the theme of this hero, both of his skills are being upgraded to deal more damage to enemies that are inflicted with the petrified debuff.
Light Solphi
Magnetic Shock (1st Skill) – Attacks the selected enemy. Increases the user’s attack power by 25% (Stacks up to 3 times). This effect expires after defeating a wave of enemies. Heals the user in proportion to the damage dealt.
After the update, Light Solphi will be getting a massive Attack boost of 25% for each time she uses her basic ability, up to a maximum of 75%! This is massive compared to the previous 50% in 5 turns. Her viability as a solid main DPS will increase with this balance change.
Dark Solphi
Plasma Rain (Burst Skill) – Attacks all enemies. Ignores defense. Damage increases according to the user’s speed. 30% chance to inflict the user with a confusion debuff for 1 turn(s). Confused characters may attack/heal either friends or foes.
Lv.2: Damage + 10%
Lv.3: Damage + 10%
Lv.4: Damage + 10%
Lv.5: Damage +10%
Lv.6: Debuff Chance – 30%
After the update, Dark Solphi’s burst skill will overall do more damage compared to the previous numbers but only after skilling her up. This is because the debuff chance in the skill-ups is getting pushed to Level 6 at 30% while at Level 2 and Level 4, the damage dealt is increased by 10% each.
Fire Alev
Ignis Buster (2nd Skill) – Attacks all enemies. Heals the user in proportion to the damage dealt.
Health: 3875
Attack: 428

After the update, Fire Alev will now heal from the overall damage dealt by his 2nd skill instead of only the critical hit damage previously. Her stats will also see a massive boost.
Water Alev
Reverse Slash (1st Skill) – Attacks the selected enemy. Heals the user in proportion to the damage dealt. Deals up to 3X additional damage depending on the enemy’s maximum health.
After the update, Water Alev will now deal more damage according to the max health of the enemy which will make her a great boss killer in PvE content.
Earth Vanessa
Battleborn Faith (1st Skill) – Attacks the selected enemy. Deals damage based on her Defense to the enemy. 60% chance to provoke them for 1 turn(s). Increases the user’s defense for 2 turn(s).

After the update, Earth Nine will now deal more damage with his burst skill if there are fewer targets in the enemy team.
Dark Aslan
Call to Arms (2nd Skill) – Heals the ally with the highest attack power by 100% health and also boosts the ally’s action gauge to 100%. If the ally with the highest attack power has already fallen in battle, revive said ally with 100% health and 100% action gauge.
