New Lord of the Rings: War Update Brings Adjustments to Ring Abilities and Commander Upgrades
According to the developers, they have listened to players’ feedback on the game and brought adjustments to the ring abilities and commander upgrades with the latest Lord of the Rings: War update in order to “balance the information and abilities of armies on the battlefield.”
Let’s take a look at everything new that the June 6 Lord of the Rings: War update has introduced to the title.
Commander Upgrade Optimizations
- New Tavern Tips and Experience Scrolls
- A new series of daily events have been added to the Tavern, where you can complete different types of events to earn rewards by defeating enemies on the map.
- A new item shall be included among your spoils the Experience Scroll, which you can freely allocate to different commanders to boost their EXP based on your strategic needs.
- Adjustment to the Effect of the Ring Ability
- The max level effect of the ring ability – “Quick-witted” will be adjusted from 100% to 20%.
- Adjustment to the “Sweep” Order Rules
- You will no longer be required to occupy adjacent land when issuing a “Sweep” order, and your commanders will be able to lead units to sweep up any Mobs within marching range instead of being restricted by the rule of “occupying adjacent lands”.
Ring Ability Adjustments
- Adjustment to the Effect of the Ring Ability
- The ring ability – “Quick March” will only be used for movement and will no longer be used as a marching order. In the interim, the effect of “Quick March” will be adjusted to: March Speed +100%.
This adjustment to “Quick March” will enable its effect to be used more for dispatching armies rather than attacking, thus preventing the defender from having to react faster when the attacker uses it.
- Adjustment to the Effect of the Ring Ability – “Clairvoyance”
- The ring ability – “Clairvoyance” will now only be used on vacant lands instead of enemy lands. In addition, we have reduced the ability point cost of “Clairvoyance”, allowing you to be more flexible while using it on vacant lands, Mobs, and other enemies.
- New Feature: Viewing Land Battle Reports
- The ability to view battle reports on designated lands has been added as an additional means of obtaining information about the enemy, enhancing the strategic dimensions of battle. You can directly tap on designated land to view the recent battle reports of your own or your Fellowship members’ upon it.
