One of the new game modes/events added to the game with the anniversary was Battlefield Draft. It employs multiple twists and turns to keep ranked games interesting and fresh. What’s more? Players get to decide what modifiers will be available in different phases of this event. This is a community tied event that rewards players for casting their votes. This guide explains all the mechanics of this event along with detailed instructions on how you can cast your vote.

What is a Battlefield Draft Event?

Battlefield Draft is part of the MLBB 8th Anniversary event. This new game mode makes use of certain “modifiers” to enhance your ranked games. You’ll be able to vote on temporary battlefield mods that change up the gameplay. These modifiers are intended to bring a refreshing change of pace to MLBB gaming, giving players unique experiences throughout the season. 

The Battlefield Draft is a limited-time event, and the chosen modifier will only be active for a set amount of time. Following that, a new set of modifiers will be provided, and voting will resume. The developers have promised more additional temporary battlefield changes, ensuring that the game remains dynamic and fascinating.

All Battlefield Modifiers

Battlefield modifiers are what makes up the heart of this entire event. These temporary enhancements introduce dynamic changes to gameplay dynamics, presenting new difficulties and strategies. Players worldwide can vote on these modifiers and decide which one’s should be allowed in the live version. • Super Entourage: This modifier causes the Lord to spawn three super minions when pushing a lane, allowing you to destroy opponent turrets faster. 
• River Surge: Extends the River Current movement bonus and generates fresh currents at critical moments. This affects mobility in the middle to late game. 
• Healing Turret: Outer Turrets restore HP to surrounding allied heroes, encouraging aggressive early gaming.  Healing is temporarily halted if you or your friends are damaged by enemy heroes.
• Eye of Tempest: Reduces the Cyclone Eye’s respawn time and increases movement speed.
• Eternal Strength: Killing the Turtle provides a lasting bonus to all allies. You can increase the bonus by killing the Turtle several times.
• Rapid Response: The Base provides a movement speed boost that decays over time, allowing for faster rotations and engagements across the map.
• Lord’s Aura: Provides a unique bonus that increases Magic Damage when attacking opponents. When you slay the Lord, you will have access to this bonus. However, hostile heroes can steal the Lord’s Aura by murdering the hero who owns it.

How to Vote in Battlefield Draft Event

First things first, only players who are ranked Epic or higher are eligible to play the Battlefield draft event. Further, this new stylized game mode is only available in ranked matches. For the rest of the game modes, these modifiers will not be available. This is a special event, as for the first time, Moonton has allowed the players to choose which modifiers will be active. In general, there are 4 phases for the event. Each phase will have a different modifier active, as voted in by the players. To cast your votes for the modifier you wish to see in game, follow the steps given below:

• Votes are a currency rather than a 1-time thing. Players can get votes by accomplishing certain in-game tasls. These votes serve as your currency for participating in decision-making processes in regards to the modifier to be chosen for the current phase.
• Once you have some votes, simply head on over to the voting interface from the ranked menu. You should see the list of all modifiers. Simply cast your vote on any one of them.
• After successfully voting, you can also claim certain rewards. 
• At the conclusion of each voting phase, the battlefield modifier with the most votes will be chosen for implementation. The winning modifier will be shown in the Ranked lobby and during the Draft Pick. This guarantees that all participants are aware of the current active modifier before starting a match.
