RAID: Shadow Legends – Live Arena, Hydra Clash Chests, and Primal Quartz Changes coming with Patch 7.70.5
RAID: Shadow Legends has always been at the helm of innovation when it comes to enriching the turn-based RPG genre. Combining elements of gacha games with strategical turn-based combat mania, the game has proved to be a worldwide success as it grosses over $20 million of revenue each month. The player numbers are also quite steadily increasing, aiding onto the replay ability and likeability of the title. RAID: Shadow Legends is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
In the past few updates, the developers have been quite keen on introducing new champions along with new dungeons, each equipped with their own set of unique mechanics. Players can advance through the different stages of the game by judiciously investing their resources and completing different ongoing events and tournaments. With the latest update, the focus of Plarium has shifted to enhancing the Live Arena and Hydra Clash experience of players as currently the rewards feel quie lacklustre. Let’s take a look at all the new and exciting changes coming to RAID: Shadow Legends with Patch 7.70.5.
Live Arena Chests Rebalancing
Primal Quartz is now available through Live Arena Chests. Depending on your Tier, you can only obtain a certain amount of Primal Quartz from Live Arena Chests each month: 150 Primal Quartz for Bronze Tier, 300 Primal Quartz for Silver Tier, and 400 Primal Quartz for Gold Tier. Every month on the first, a player’s Primal Quartz counter is reset at 00:00 UTC.
You are not able to obtain any more Primal Quartz from Live Arena Chests until the monthly limit is reset after it has been reached. The next Live Arena Chest you obtain that month will only contain a maximum of 30 Primal Quartz if, for instance, you are in Silver Tier and have already obtained 270 Primal Quartz from Live Arena Chests that month.
A player’s monthly limit will be changed if they move between Tiers. For instance, your cap will be raised to 400 and you can keep earning Primal Quartz if you began a month in Silver IV and earned 300 before switching to Gold I. Your monthly limit will drop if you go from Gold to Silver, but you will still be able to keep all of the Primal Quartz you have already earned for that month. When you tap a Chest from your Tier, an info pop-up appears that shows the Primal Quartz monthly limit counter.
Hydra Clash Chests Rebalancing
Hydra Clash Chests will now contain more Primal Quartz, and players can also earn Mythical Skill Tomes from them.
