Summoners War: Sky Arena – New 2A Sacreon Dimension and New 2A Monsters
The newest Patch of Summoners War: Sky Arena is coming sooner than we expected. The popular turn-based RPG by Com2US which is often considered the godfather of turn-based style games on mobile devices is back with some new content. The 8-year-old title is still running strong and is still the main cash cow of Com2US as the love for the game by its players only seems to grow! The latest patch is titled Patch 6.5.5. is going live on 15th March 2022 after maintenance ends. Players can update the game beforehand to avoid crashing issues. Let’s see the synopsis of what new content Patch 6.5.5 is bringing to the game.
Patch 6.5.5 is finally bringing the newest 2A dimension that was being teased in the last patches as well on Summoners War social media outlets. The new Dimension is called Sacreon and can be found in the Dimension Rift with the rest of the Dimensions. The Sacreon dimension is home to new 2A monsters which are short form for Second Awakening. The selected monsters for Sacreon are Vagabonds and Mystic Witches. Players can fight in the Castle of Forgotten Heroes which is the Dimension dungeon for Sacreon to get Ancient Runes/ Ancient Grindstone/ Ancient Gems for Focus/ Despair/ Revenge/ Blade/ Fight sets.
New 2A Vagabonds
The newest 2A monsters in the Sacreon Dimension include some of the most ancient monsters in the entire history of Summoners War: Sky Arena – The Vagabonds. Yes, the natural 2 and 3-star monsters which were quite popular during the early years of the game before they got power crept by better and newer monsters that were released over time. Now, they are just a shadow of what they were but they do hold a nostalgic value to all players.
With their Second Awakening, players can play them again and induce new strategies with them as their skills get better and base stats get increased. Here are the different element 2A Vagabond’s and their skills: –
Second Awakened Wind Elemental Vagabond (Roid)
- Slash Rocks – Swings a giant sword to deal damage and decrease the target’s Defense for 2 turns. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Slash Waves (Passive) – Attacks the target additionally 2 times to decrease Attack Power for 2 turns with a Slash Waves (Passive) 70% chance each if you attack the enemy with decreased Defense on your turn. The damage increases according to your MAX HP.
- Slash Wind (Passive) – Attacks the target additionally to decrease Attack Bar to 0 and grants irresistible Slash Wind (Passive) provoke for 1 turn if you attack the enemy with no decreased Defense on your turn. The damage increases according to your MAX HP.
Second Awakened Fire Elemental Vagabond (Kai’En)
- Slash Rocks – Swings a giant sword to deal damage and decrease the target’s Defense for 2 turns. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Slash Waves – Attacks the enemy with a sword 2 times to decrease the target’s Attack Power for 2 turns with a 70% chance each and recovers your HP by 20% of the damage dealt. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Cry of Challenge – Provokes all enemies for 1 turn. Increases your Defense for 3 turns and gains Immunity for 3 turns.
Second Awakened Water Elemental Vagabond (Allen)
- Slash Rocks – Swings a giant sword to deal damage and decrease the target’s Defense for 2 turns. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Taunting Strike – Attacks the enemy with a humiliating strike to provoke the target for 1 turn. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Strong Will (Passive) – When your HP is at 30% or lower or you are attacked by a provoked target, the damage you receive is reduced by 50%.
Second Awakened Light Elemental Vagabond (Darion)
- Slash Rocks – Swings a giant sword to deal damage and decrease the target’s Defense for 2 turns. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Slash Waves – Attacks the enemy with a sword 2 times to decrease the target’s Attack Power for 2 turns with a 70% chance each and recovers your HP by 20% of the damage dealt. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Knighthood (Passive) – Decreases the damage that other allies receive by 30%, but increases the damage you receive by 15%. This effect doesn’t accumulate with other damage reduction effect skills.
Second Awakened Dark Elemental Vagabond (Jubelle)
- Slash Rocks – Swings a giant sword to deal damage and decrease the target’s Defense for 2 turns. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Taunting Strike – Attacks the enemy with a humiliating strike to provoke the target for 1 turn. This attack will deal more damage according to your MAX HP.
- Wanderer (Passive) – Decreases the chances of receiving critical hits by 50%, and decreases the cooldown of your skill each time you’re attacked. In addition, increases your Attack Bar by 30% if you get attacked by non-critical hits.
New 2A Mystic Witch
Other than the Vagabonds, the Mystic Witches are also getting their own Second Awakening versions. Just like Vagabonds, Mystic Witches are also one of the oldest units in the game and were in fact, available from the start of the game. Hence, it’s not crazy to think that they needed an upgrade to their skill sets in an 8-year-old game where they were also heavily power crept by other monsters. Second Awakening increases the Monster’s base stats as well as upgrades their skills to make them do bonus effects.
They are a great way to make old heroes usable again and, in some cases, they even become more powerful than natural 5-star monsters. Here are the different element 2A Mystic Witches and their skills: –
Second Awakened Wind Elemental Mystic Witch (Silia)
- Crow Summoning – Summons crows to attack the enemy, removing one beneficial effect with a 30% chance and inflicting Continuous Damage for 1 turn with a 100% chance.
- Jealousy – Attacks all enemies with the power of jealousy to remove one beneficial effect with an 80% chance and weakens the Defense for 2 turns with an 80% chance.
- Curse – Curses the enemy to remove beneficial effects on the enemy and inflicts damage. Also, disturbs the enemy’s HP recovery and prevents the enemy from receiving any beneficial effects for 2 turns each.
Second Awakened Fire Elemental Mystic Witch (Rebecca)
- Crow Summoning – Summons crows to attack the enemy, inflicting Continuous Damage for 1 turn.
- Jealousy – Attacks all enemies with the power of jealousy and weakens the Defense for 2 turns.
- Spell of Removal – Removes harmful effects granted on all allies and recovers their HP by at least 20% each. In addition, the recovery amount increases by 5% per removed harmful effect, and increases Attack Bar by 5% each, up to 30%.
Second Awakened Water Elemental Mystic Witch (Megan)
- Crow Summoning – Summons crows to attack the enemy, inflicting Continuous Damage for 2 turns.
- Toad Poison – Covers the enemy with poison to remove one beneficial effect, inflicts damage, and prevents the target from receiving beneficial effects for 2 turns.
- Spell of Strengthening – Increases the Attack Bar of all allies by 20% and increases their Attack Power and Defense for 2 turns each.
Second Awakened Light Elemental Mystic Witch (Linda)
- Crow Summoning – Summons crows to attack the enemy, inflicting Continuous Damage for 1 turn.
- Jealousy – Attacks all enemies with the power of jealousy and weakens the Defense for 2 turns with a 50% chance and absorbs Attack Bar by 20% with a 50% chance. The effect is activated with a 100% chance if the enemy has beneficial effects.
- Comet Summoning – Summons comets to attack all enemies 3 to 4 times, each hit applying one of the following effects for 2 turns: Decrease Attack Power, Decrease Attack Speed, Increase Chance of a Glancing Hit, Beneficial Effects Blocked. The target defeated by this attack cannot be revived during battle.
Second Awakened Dark Elemental Mystic Witch (Gina)
- Crow Summoning – Summons crows to attack the enemy, inflicting Continuous Damage for 1 turn.
- Toad Poison – Covers all enemies with poison to remove one beneficial effect, inflicts damage, and prevents them from receiving beneficial effects for 1 turn.
- Thorny Bush Summoning – Attacks all enemies 4 times by summoning thorny bushes and inflicts Continuous Damage for 2 turns with a 60% chance each. The last attack additionally puts them to sleep for 1 turn with a 60% chance.
New Mock Battle Stages and Quality of Life Improvements
Patch 6.5.5 is also bringing a ton of much-needed Quality of Life improvements that were needed for the 8-year-old game. Players weren’t expecting this but were taken by surprise when these changes were mentioned. The age-old question of rune upgrading has finally been answered in the patch notes of this update. All players can now expect faster rune upgrade animations! Took them 8 years to realize this but finally, it’s here. Players can also expect new slots of Runes as the total inventory of Runes is being upgraded from 800 to 900. Gems and Grindstones slots are being upgraded to 1600. Artifact slots are being upgraded to 500. Engraved Conversion Stone slots are being upgraded to 500 as well.
For the relief of players who are not going to be able to get all of the newly released 2A Vagabonds and Mystic Witches, new Mock Battle stages are being added in the Mock Battle System where players can test them out while also getting rewarded for it if they meet certain conditions to clear the Mock battle stage. The rewards are minute but still, they are rewards and include 1 Mystical Scroll, 100000 Mana Stones, and 50 Crystals for clearing the Mock Battle stage on 3 stars.
