Whiteout Survival is a survival strategy game that portrays a thematic glacial apocalypse encapsulating the entirety of Earth. Experience a collaborative shelter building experience as the remainder of humanity tries to survive another Ice Age. Players can hunt, gather, and build to get more resources. Whiteout Survival is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.          

In the latest patch notes for the update that took place on 26th February 2024, the developers have implemented a ton of new features along with some new events to keep the players entertained and engaged. New events are the core entertainment factor for many players, especially veterans who have progressed through the entire main story campaign. This update comes right along the timeline of the holy festival of Ramadan, and many of the events observe a similar theme. Let’s check them out!   

New Features Added to Whiteout Survival

Here is a list of all the new features and their usage:

• Ramadan Events – Take part in the events to have a chance to win Training Speedups, Mythic Hero Shards, and the emote of Epic Hero Jasser.
• Skin Shop – Fulfill daily tasks to obtain unique Skin Tokens that can be redeemed at the Skin Shop for your favorite Skins!
• Character Deletion – Character deletion is now possible (up to 10 characters per account).
• Prestige Shop – You can use your extra VIP Points to exchange for rare items once you’ve unlocked Prestige Shop.

Optimizations and Adjustments

If you’re an avid fan of Whiteout Survival, you must realize how important it is for the game to continuously flesh out the bugs that wreak havoc on day-to-day operations. Well, it seems the developers are actively solving many issues and vow to make the game more optimized for the masses. Check out all the adjustments and optimizations that came along with the update:

• The chat translation’s original text is now viewable. 
• Arena battle replays are now accessible.
• Improved the features of Mastery and Enhancement Reforge. It is possible to reset Mastery Level and Gear Enhancement to 0. 50% of the Essence Stones used will be returned for Mastery Reforge, and all Enhancement XP used will be returned for Enhancement Reforge. 
• The mail interface has been optimized to make it simple to move from one message to the next. 
• Mastery materials can now be obtained by using Mythic Gear with a Mastery Level of less than or equal to 10.        
• You will receive back 50% of the extra Alliance Arsenal Points you earn from Foundry Battle buildings (you do not lose these points), and the remaining 50% will go toward your Defense Arsenal Point total.
• Red icons on the map will indicate the location of the invader’s castle during the State of Power event.
• During their tenure, Presidents and Supreme Presidents are able to switch their Position Perks to the benefits of any other Minister.
• Modified the prerequisites for Fortress Battle participation. Chiefs may take part if they are Alliance Members at 0:00 on the day of the Fortress Battle. The day of the Fortress Battle is when members are free to depart from the Alliance. If they rejoin the original Alliance, they can still take part in the event, but not if you join another Alliance.
• Resolved the problem whereby the auto-use of stamina item option was enabled by default but did not apply while Auto Hunting. 
• At resource points on the map, Chiefs can now see if other Chiefs are gathering resources.
• The Alliance Channel will not feature Ally Treasures from Pet Adventures. 
• Added Crystal Laboratory’s batch selection feature for Super Refinement. 
• To ensure that damage is delivered more consistently, the damage algorithm in Bear Hunt has been improved.
