You awaken from stasis in the year 2045, which is not too far away. Given that it is 2045, it seems obvious that you are on some kind of starship. You begin to groggily see objects and hear the ship’s AI speak as Jane Frey or Gunner Davis. You must immediately locate a medical facility! And so your voyage onboard the spacecraft Meridian gets underway.
You’ll gradually become familiar with the game’s mechanics and the HUD throughout the first several missions. The default placement of the fire and reload keys initially hindered my movement, but that could have been due to my large hand.
