It may be a tower defense game that uses gacha mechanics, but Final Fate TD also has an interesting story. A thousand years ago, Humans, Fiends, and Deities formed an alliance, fought and defeated the Demon King. They divided the Demon King’s soul into three parts and transferred each piece to a crystal. However, these crystals affected their keepers and turned them into a “Demon Worshipper”. The demons are returning to earth again and the only thing that can prevent them is you: Actually, you and your waifu girls.
So, how do you do that? Take a look at the screenshot above. Round white circles indicate the points where you can place the heroes. The path shows the route that the enemies will follow. After placing any hero you want on the white rings, you can start the game. The things you have to do are simple: The enemies start walking from one corner of the map to the other without stopping. Your heroes attack enemies passing by in their fixed positions. Each hero automatically attacks enemies within its range: If you click on them, you can see what this range is.
The green ring indicates the heroes’ attack range.
Your enemies should not reach the other end of the path: if they do, however, a final hero awaits at the end. But what it can do is limited and cannot deal with a large number of enemies, so ideally your defensive fixed heroes should destroy the enemies before they reach the end of the path.
You cannot control your heroes, but you can use some special abilities to help them. These abilities are displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen and you have to drag and drop them on the heroes. In other words, you can boost their attacks or make them area effective (AOE). However, each skill has a specific cooldown, so you cannot use them all the time.
Just drag one of these skills and drop it on one of the heroes.
In short, if you’ve played a tower defense game before, Final Fate TD will look extremely familiar. The game does not differ in terms of tower defense mechanics. However, thanks to the gacha mechanics, it turns into a different game because which hero you use is of great importance for your success.

Final Fate TD asks you to place the heroes you can use in a team. Each team can have 8 heroes and ideally, each should be a different class. If you choose the team members correctly, you will get various bonuses and complete your missions much easier. You can also strengthen your heroes with equipment and enhance them to improve their abilities further.

So, how do you find the heroes? This is where gacha mechanics come into play. New heroes are obtained through the “summon” method. There are two types of summoning, elite and normal.
