Battlegrounds Mobile India on PC Available Exclusively on BlueStacks 5
Battlegrounds Mobile India is currently playable on PC exclusively with BlueStacks 5. The game is already available for many players on the Play Store, though it’s still unavailable for some users. If you’re one of the lucky users who have already gotten access to the game, and would like to continue enjoying all its battle royale awesomeness on your computer, then BlueStacks 5 is the best (and only) way to do so.
PUBG is absolutely massive in India. The popular battle royale game, which arguably is the sole title responsible for launching the genre into mainstream appeal, has popped off across the world ever since its release in 2017. Its success was so massive that the developers quickly looked to branch out to other platforms, including consoles and mobile versions, that also saw massive success.
Even though PUBG Mobile had mainstream appeal around the world, some countries enjoyed the title much more than others. India, in particular, had massive adoption of the popular game, making up for over half of the game’s active population, which amounted to over 30 million players. These stats made it much more shocking when the country outright banned the game in late 2020 due to various reasons, leaving the users with a urge to sate their battle royale needs.
However, Krafton, a company founded by the original PUBG as a holding group for all their game IPs, quickly announced that they were working with the Indian government to create a version of PUBG that would meet the country’s standards and that would feature most of the same gameplay. This idea was quickly revealed to be Battlegrounds Mobile India.
The long-awaited alternate version of PUBG Mobile, exclusive to the Indian market, features very familiar elements to the original. After all, it’s designed to be the same game, but with minor changes to meet the country’s requirements. In this sense, players can expect the same level of intense action, running, shooting, and eliminating other teams and players to be the last person standing on the field, and take the delicious chicken dinner.
Battlegrounds Mobile India on PC
Just like with the original PUBG Mobile, which could be run on computers using emulators, BGMI can be run in the same manner. However, the most important difference is that this upcoming India-only battle royale game will be playable on PC ONLY on BlueStacks—no other emulator will be able to run it.
If you want to enjoy the game as soon as it’s available, and on your PC, simply follow these simple steps:
- Download and Install BlueStacks on your PC.
- Complete Google Sign-in to access the Play Store, or do it later.
- Look for Battlegrounds Mobile India using the search bar on the top-right corner.
- Click to install Battlegrounds Mobile India from the search results.
- Complete Google Sign-in (if you skipped step 2) to install Battlegrounds Mobile India.
- Click the Battlegrounds Mobile India icon on the home screen to start playing.
As we mentioned at the beginning of this article, BGMI is currently rolling out for open beta in India, so if it shows as unavailable to you in the Play Store, just try again at a later time, and it should be available for download. If it’s available in your Play Store already, you can definitely follow the steps we mentioned above to play BGMI on PC with BlueStacks.
