Best Packs to Purchase in AFK Journey

These packs offer players the best value:

• $1 Pack – The $1 offer you will receive at the start of the game is the best bargain in the entire game. It gives you 10 Epic Invitation Letter, allowing you to reach pity in the first 10 summon made on the Epic Recruitment banner. Hence, it will help you begin your adventures with at least 1 SSR hero. And because you can create a wishlist on that banner, you will receive one of the five characters of your choice, making early progression even easier. You have a 20% chance of getting the best tank (Thoran) in the game.
• Secret Travelogue – This is the AFK Journey version of a battle pass. Along with several resources and Epic Invitation Letter. Epic Invite Letters can provide you with a selector box with an S-Level character. Initially, there were four options on the PTR server, but this may change after release. We’ll update this guide as the available heroes are confirmed. The more expensive battle pass option includes the first 20 levels, a border, cosmetic items, and 10 additional Epic Invite Letters.

• Monthly Pass – The Monthly Subscription Pack or Monthly Card is a staple for light spenders. These packs generally offer great value, giving you daily rewards over 30 days for a small price. The bonuses often include a steady stream of Diamonds and VIP Points, which will help you progress without needing to spend large sums at once. It gives you a constant influx of Diamonds and is considered way better than spending individually on packs. 

• Classic Gazette ($5) – The Classic Gazette offers a total of 12,000 Diamonds (3,000 up front and 9,000 over the course of a month) and VIP Points.
• Premium Gazette ($15) – Instead of Diamonds, the Premium Gazette provides 70 Epic Invite Letters (10 upfront and 2 daily), as well as VIP Points.
• Growth Bundle ($30) – The Growth Bundle includes 18,000 diamonds, 60 invitation letters, and 60 epic invite letters. There’s a condition to obtain all of them, which is that you must first clear up to stage 951 in AFK mode. For a player contemplating purchasing this bundle, it should take about a month to complete.

• Welcome Packs – The Welcome Packs are a bundle of multiple high value packs that are only available for the first two weeks after you establish your character. After 2 weeks, they will disappear. Unlike other packs, you must purchase a special in-game currency called “Dragon Crystal” to obtain these. All packs in this category are good value, and many high-spending players will choose the $90 pack because it includes Thoran, the best tank in the game.
• Special Packages – These packs are made available to players when they reach certain levels in the story exploration or reach certain milestones pertaining to AFK stage progress. These uniquely timed packs can only be purchased within a two-hour window before disappearing. These packs do not have a fixed value, and have a varying price (ranging from $1 to $50).  Overall, these packs offer excellent value, with a reasonable number of pulls and even S-Level characters. 

• Hero Advancement Packs – As you progress through the game, upgrading your heroes becomes increasingly important. To level them up, ascend their stars, and unlock better skills, you’ll need both hero shards and resources. Hero Advancement Packs offer these in large quantities, making it easier to push your key heroes to higher levels. These packs usually come at different price points, making them accessible for moderate spenders.
